I made mine, it's amazing what you can do with things found at your local tack shop...(yes horse stuff..) can be made into a beautiful collar...and it meant more to my slave, gave us a more personal touch, like he wasn't just anyone.

i make mine, or my Owner makes them for me. It's so much nicer to do custom work for yourself, or others (Here to find a girl, not sell stuff, but in case you need the option, we do have a site and do some custom work if you'd like to email me for info).

But anyway, i've known people to get collars from all kinds of places. The flea market, pet stores, gothic stores, novelty stores, adult stores, online, ebay... Google search for BDSM collars, chokers, etc. You can even get thin braided leather collars from some jewelry places, though they're referred to as chokers. i've taken chain necklaces and using my jewelry making skills turned them into collars too, simply by removing the extra chain links for a perfect fit.

You could even go to a leatherworking supply store, like Tandy, and go through their scrap barrels and get some nice leather to make a collar out of. Then all you'd need to do is grab a buckle and some easy to do hardware (i know the tandy workers can tell you how to use anything you buy) and make your own.

I have a number of different collars and cuffs . But some of my best stuff i got at  saddle and tack shops . Every thing from one of these places are heavy duty items made for horses so they are going to last you a life time .  My best collar was from a horse bridle i just cut off the pieces i did not want and ended up with this leather padded collar with a heavy duty 4 piece metal outer band with D-rings as the hing joints of the metal bands . the metal collar part is held to the leather part by small buckled loops kind of like  belt loops on your pants only each one is these have small belt buckles . it kind of hard to explain  just think of the way your belt is on your pants with your pants part being leather and the belt being steel and  each belt loop being a small buckles holding the belt in place . and the best part is that the thing cost me like 40 dollars . I could see it going for a few hundred in a bondage shop. Look for  horse hobblers at one of these places they are hand cuffs for horses that can easyly be made to work on your sub .

I would like to just second some that have been mentioned here .
Lucy , has great stuff super person .
Archer and elegant = vast info ,great stuff too , and wonderful people .
Achella ,wonderful people and decent quality and they back the product line .
I tend to support those i have had some contact with first hand  and those above mentioned are all positives .I tend not to shop a nameless faceless website .I would also suggest you get to some of the events and shop too there are some  super vendors and craftspeople out there .
Good luck in your search .
