Can someone define a Daddy/sub relationship and how is differs from a "regular" Master/slave relationship? How do the dynamics change? (Trying to figure out the best way to discuss this relationship with my Master)[:)] Thanks! -M

In my experience (of course this may not be true for everyone) a Daddy/daughter dynamic is very nurturing, warm, and not as strict or demanding as an M/s relationship. It is protection and acceptance and love rolled into one fluffy ball, although it is still about unequal authority.

i have to wonder if i am that original...i am a Daddy's girl...but i am a slave...i can't be in a relationship with a Master, it doesn't work, i've tried, i have to be with someone that self identifies as a Daddy...but i still need the structure and authority that a slave needs...its a unusual dynamic...and there aren't a whole lot of Daddies that are up for it... does anyone else know what i mean or am i speaking greek here?

Yes I understand you, and you are right in that there aren't too many- the good news is that I think they are more prevalent in the leather culture.

i agree...i find myself wanting to go home with lots of gay leather Daddies at national leather events...but they just don't want to adopt any girly kitties...

For me there really is not clear difference. Many of the attributes some ascribe to Daddys are present in doms who do not use that label. He's Daddy cause it's a title which reflects the intimacy we both feel. Any thing else felt too removed to me and that is not what either of us sought.

Daddy asked me to tell him what my "normal" day is like... and told me "lil girl, you are a slave, not a sub". and yes, i'd agree that finding that really good fit is like a needle in a haystack... kitten
