Status: offline 		I find that when i anticipate it too much and try to imagine what's going to happen then often the event itself is dissapointing. Not necessarily because what happened is not as fun as what i imagined but because it simply wasn't what i imagined. So i mostly enjoy not knowing what is going to happen.

However i do enjoy knowing something is going to happen. With zero hints as to what. Then i can all worked up and excited without over planning it in my head.

Status: offline 		 I enjoy both. Knowing that something is coming up is nice (like maybe going to a play party or something) but NOTHING tops a growled "Down. NOW" while grabbing my throat or hair, when 15 seconds earlier we were talking about the weather. WOO!

Status: offline 		In a nutshell, and you have isolated it perfectly for me, it is the anticipation and the headspace it puts me in that I find much more attractive than the pain itself, but you can't have the one without the other unfortunately. I do define myself as a masochist and love the places I go as a result of pain, but I think I betray myself by stating that it is the thuddy I love more than the sting, but the sting is what creates the headspace....

Status: offline 		Master and i currently live 500 miles apart and i begin to anticipate our next time together during the plane ride home.

An entertainer decided to warm up his audience.  "Okay!  Raise your hand if you have sex every day!"  Quite a few hands went up.

"Now, how many of you have sex every week"  This time it was more hands that were raised.

"Raise your hand if you have sex every month"  A pitiful few hands were raised.

"Anyone have sex once a year?"  And one guy in the third row was standing and waving both hands wildly in the air and jumping up and down.  The entertainer looked puzzled and asked the man "Wow, if you only get sex once a year why do you seem so excited?" 

The man shouted his reply, "Tonight's the night! Tonight's the night!!"

Status: offline 		I do not care for the anticipation. I have gotten physically sick  if I know too far in advance that a scene is going to happen. I pace, I try to imagine the scene, I worry I won't tolerate well. Master however seems to quite enjoy watching me try to prepare for it..Its a Dom thing I guess. (lol)

I tr to anticipate, not expect--I think there is a difference...I know women that have great  public scenes and walk away disappointed because it wasn't what they expected...had they only just 'anticipated' a great trip into 'space' they may have viewed the outcome differently

Status: offline 		Actually I can't handle the tantalizing hints. I suffer from anxiety disorder and I go from imagining what might happen to worrying about it very quickly. Knowing we will play later, having him touch me during the day will get me ready but otherwise I prefer to be told to get naked and then lie there blindfolded while he gets out what he wants.

Status: offline 		I have been old that My flirting is dangerous...seductive to say the least. I love the element of surprise, even during "foreplay"; it takes the one who is being used to another level... they have no idea what to anticipate next.......and I love to control these aspects!

so what is better for you, the anticipation of the pain and the headspace it puts you in ? or the pain  itself?


I haven't experienced a lot of  anticipation waiting for specific play to happen...Daddy is a very spontaneous Guy...

Sometimes, he will taunt the lady as he leaves for work with a simple word and evil smile "Tonight!" They've told me that is the cruelest of all. All day long, they think about what is going to happen, secure in the knowledge ... they are most likely wrong.
