Hm... hate to be a word nerd, but generally speaking, fetishes cause fantasies, not the other way around. Very few people choose their fetishes (unless you're using the non-kink definition of fetish as being an object, which would be correct, but confusing in this context).
If you're asking why i want to "play out" a fantasy, it seems kind of self-explanatory to me... i have fantasies about things that i think would be erotic, and since i enjoy the erotic, i would like to do them, given the opportunity. Sure, i have some fantasies that would be illegal/fatal/defy the laws of physics, and those have to be kept as fantasies, but for everything else... why *not* do them? i can always come up with more fantasies if i find myself running low [:D]
