got to love the electric flyswats hehe find em at Dom Depot er I mean Home depot...

Clue me in here...just what can be done with an electric flyswatter? Mucho Curioso.

Consider the Amazonian Gluteus Maximus Fly......ever wondered why they are an endangered species?

great lil shock in it for electrical play ... dont buy  the child proof ones though they wont shock you... Should see the folks at the counter when you tell them you want one that does shock and is NOT child proof ...

windchymes -> RE: At home tools for play (12/3/2007 3:08:52 PM)

You can have a lot of fun with ordinary old-fashioned mousetraps.

HardnRuff -> RE: At home tools for play (12/3/2007 3:12:11 PM)

how about the plastic wiffle ball bats?  A length of garden hose leaves some hell bruises.a wet towel rolled up used like a dragon tail is quite stingy. Tabasco sause works well ... Ping pong paddles, The good ole belt , banjo picks are great for sensation play .

A good salt cedar branch works wonders also .   A boat paddle .. thinks of more stuff .......Lil horse radish strategicaly placed is amazing hehe..  feather dusters for sensation are great ... And your teeth, bite them good .. .. A Ruler or a yard stick .. I use one of those back scratchers also .  This is just a few right off the top of my head

There's this stuff they sell at craft stores like Hobby Lobby, or Michaels: "Sketti" Basically, it's wire insulation without the wire in it. Comes in all sorts of colors... personally, I like playing with the Glow in the Dark variety... It can be used for bondage, for making small whips, and is especially cool when used as tie offs to peircing rings and the like. Especially with a tube blacklight shining nearby....

Foam pipe insulation also has interesting uses... a soft foam tube, you can fit an 8" length of it with a plastic lunchbag, and some lube, and you have a "pocket pussy" that you can tease your male partner with, without wearing yourself out. It's also soft enough, that you can beat a cock and balls with it without causing damage.

How much of a zap is in it? I have been touched with a violet wand on the hand and arm, what's it like in comparison to that? How about to a bad shock from static electricity?

A cutting board with handles for deep, thuddy spanking.

Rubber bands for inflicting sharp stingyness to tender places.

An extra large size dog crate ... not to mention Fido's collar, leash, food bowls (with food!), dog biscuits, and squeaky toys.

Binder clips for clamping nipples and other clampable flesh.

Rubbing alcohol (in a spray bottle) to furthur torture freshly played skin.

In addition to what's been mentioned here, there are a lot of ideas on this thread:
household objects

mstrj69 -> RE: At home tools for play (12/3/2007 6:33:20 PM)

If you know someone who has a dining room table and goes to the trouble of buying the clips to hold down the corners of the table cloths, those work better than clothespins when it comes to pain.  I like the 5 gal paint stirrers I get for free at lowes or home depot to use for spanking.  Aligator clips if you want to spend a little money and have them hurt.  Can attach wire to them and then attach them to a battery but be careful of the amps and where they are.

HardnRuff -> RE: At home tools for play (12/3/2007 6:52:15 PM)

I would say that the electric flyswat is not as strong a sensation as the wand but a lil more than a tens unit ... I used to use just a 9 volt battery but Heard that is not very safe so I stopped that a few yrs ago. .

Just interested in what items E/everyone uses to play at home, outside of what you can purchase from an erotic boutique or website.

Do Y/you make any of your own toys? Or perhaps use regular household items in a unique way?

Inquiring minds, aka mine :o), would like to know!

The spiked wheel thing-ee sounds like some kind of Whartenburg Wheel. Yummy...We have one of those. You can find something similar to a Whartenburg at the fabric store. Feels soooooo nice run gently over the tender parts of flesh, especially the inner thighs and the backs of the knees...

YourhandMyAss -> RE: At home tools for play (12/4/2007 6:44:09 PM)

they're plastic points on the wheel to stimulate the skin, it's also a bonus it's so amusing to an emotionally regressed me* lol*

The dreaded wooden spoon is always good.

standupshaking -> RE: At home tools for play (12/9/2007 8:07:09 PM)

cutlery...the slippery dome of the bowl of a soup spoon can b cooling or deliver a tight tap, a fork can pull against skin with a blunt scrape that is so much more torturous than a fingernail....

tools too, the smooth plastic handle of a screwdriver, the hard edge of a flat.....blunt nosed pliers and screw clamps (still my favourite), there's something about cold metal on hot flesh that just gets me goin

umm. and fruit...of course, nothing more luscious than a puss stuffd with cherries.

My alltime favorite everyday item is a wooden paddle hairbrush.

I am always in search of the perfect bag of clothespins. Wooden ones are too much for me, so I am always looking for ones that have a little less tension.

Everyone else has mentioned household items...my favorite place to shop for everyday items to use is either the fabric/craft store or Big Lots.

A wooden paddle hairbrush was my first toy, when I first discovered the joys of spanking - we're talking 12/13 years old! Oy vey!

Gorgeous1, I found clothespins made by Woolite, they are purple plastic with hot pink lightly padded silicone clips. I got them at Target, but I'm sure you can find them in any store in the laundry section. They are made specifically for delicate clothing. I hope this helps - and I HIGHLY reccomend them.
