I received an unsolicited message inviting a reply. This person is supposedly making contact for a friend who is in my area, name and location unspecified. Apparently this person is looking for a random subish male to enter into a "lifestyle" sight unseen blah blah blah.. . But the closing praises me for reading and compliments me for being a "good boy." That's just not fair. I can't hear or read that phrase directed at me without tearing up. I'll do anything if it will make me a "good boy." That phrase has got to be wired directly into the male brain (mine at least) somewhere between breathing and boobs. There should be export restrictions on that phrase. That phrase should be written down, stamped SECRET and locked away. Are there any other such phrases that you have observed having an unreasonable affect on you or orhters? I know there are some negative phrases and words that have an immediate non-linear affect. I don't want to open a negative topic. What about words that have the ability to disrupt thinking or persuade unreasonably?

One sub is like you. The words "good boy" are like god, heaven, sunshine, rain, rainbows, etc., to him. He beams when I use the term. He will actually ask me if he is a good boy. The other one likes to be called a turd. It makes him so gaga.

Maybe I was rushing to judgmental dividing phrases into negative / positive. One persons "good boy" is another person's "turd."

I've had "silly boy" used quite well to entwine my heart. But being a "good boy" definitely brings me to my knees. Ahhh the simple things in life most often mean the most. chia* (the pet)

People are able to be fetishistic about anything, even words. If that's what turns you on-regardless of the source-so be it. i've never been anyone's, "good boy", before my fulfilling & joyful enslavement, & never will be for another. For me, it's the One Who Speaks that matters.

I agree with Dusty Gold it isn't necessarily the words its the person saying them. If some random domme walked up to me and said I was a "good boy" I'd probably look at them askance and laugh. However when Aerith calls me a "good boy" I melt for her and feel so happy that she feels that way. Also, since when do dommes play fair? Is that in a rule book? If so I need to get a copy and show it to Aerith, it'll make my life a hell of a lot easier!

Dommes have chinks in their armor too. There are definitely things a man can say or do which will fill me with a rush of emotion. 'Course, I wouldn't list them in public or anything--! [:D] (Actually, I must admit that I do have a tendency to use affectionate endearments in general. It didn't occur to me that "good boy" would be so emotional for some men. Doesn't mean I'll stop saying it, of course, when a man does something sweet or especially good for me... [:)] )

I'm sure my Owner is aware of probably a dozen words that makes me absolutely melt.

Depending on the scene with my submissive girl, either "good girl" or "dirty slut" seems to have the intended effect. And of course I don't play fair - I play to win. [;)]

I've found that "good boy" has a similar effect on My submissive. Throw in the same melty type of response, not just for "lil one", but especially when I call him "My lil one".

I'm partial "tart" and "trollop", too. Slut is fun and gets me wet, but nothing sends my knees a-quakin' like a good archaic synonym. A good friend last night called me a "primping fop", and that sent me giggling and fluttering...probably adding to the foppishness. "Nerd", "geek" and "dork" get me hot and bothered too, with the right tone and inflection.

I get it...I do...MsK has found that "My good lil boi" means that I'm gonna be useless for about ten minutes and She can't even use the words "bad boy" to the dog when I'm around or I get upset. These are the only two phrases that effect me in a purely emotional non sexual way like that.

Ah, aidan, why couldn't you be a few years older :-P One of my favorite things to call a boy is "dork" or "geek" ... geeks are hot, you know. I have a few friends that I have to be careful what I say to them ... "silly boy" "good boy" and "poor boy" are all triggers, as well as various other things ("dork" being one of them lol). As for what gets me - the last boy that didn't work out used to call me "Princess" ... which from anyone else would get a smart-assed remark, but from him sigh I just loved it. Oddly enough, the thing that our newest potential does that gets me is when he forgets that I hate being called "ma'am" ... he can't type for shit, and it normally comes out "mama" ... I'm not normally one for that type of roleplay, and definitely not looking for the Female equivalent of a 'DaddyDom' .. but damn that got my gears going overtime.
