I have asked this before and will ask again

Please do not bump old threads if you are not actually contributing to the discussion and just making a random off the cuff comment.

This also applies for bumping multiple old threads.

Please be courteous, bumping many threads that are several months to over a year old just clutters the forum and pushes the current discussions aside. Especially if you are not actually contributing to the old discussion.

Lol what they mean is some threads just turn to flame wars so some are better off dead aswell as some the members are not here anymore.

Bumping a bunch of old threads without actually contributing to the discussion i.e. just putting an emoticon or saying something like 'good post' or a response which is equally unnecessary clutters up the forums.

If you read an old post and have genuine questions or comments and something that adds to the thread, then by all means please post it. This post is intended for those who are bumping up old threads without any actual purpose (perhaps to inflate post count, push aside current threads etc.)

There are also many cases where a thread was very emotional and resulted in flames and feelings hurt. In these cases it is usually best to let the thread die. Bringing back one or more of these threads without having something substantial to contribute to the original question (topic) is usually discouraged.

Hope that clears things up.

If you still have questions about it, please feel free to contact me on the site.
