I just want to say that i hope everyone in WA and OR is safe without losing any property after yesterday's storm.  Also hope no one has to travel between Seattle and Portland, what a mess with I-5 closed and no reasonable detour.[:o]

I heard the weather a day back. 100 mph winds there- I thought- oh that is a misprint. That is sorta like a mini hurricane. Anyhow I wish the folks all the best there.

Oh yes, we lived in North Vancouver for 2 years.  But we don't get much news down here of what's going on up there. I imagine the storm hit the coast pretty hard.

I know both the northern part of the state and Washington got hit badly, but we didn't even lose power here.
