That actually looks interesting. As a storyteller and movie fan, I'm intrigued by something that looks like an original gimmick, or at least a legitimate use of a gimmick. But as a BDSM activist and submissive male...Ooooh. Broken fingers and whatever was happening to that guy's head in the vice? It may not jibe with my artistic integrity, but anything in mainstream media that makes BDSM look bad (or could) makes me feel uncomfortable. Hopefully it's not anybody who's a kinkster commiting the acts of violence, and in the long run it could show that this is like homosexuality: it's something that can be addressed and talked about and have stories told about it just like any other facet of human nature. Does that make any sense?

I think that clips about the bad guys (who are nothing to do with BDSM) going after one of the clients. I get the idea that the movie portrays the humanity of the female leads, and shows that really both they (and their clients) are everyday people. Tricia Helfer said in an interview (roughly paraphrased) that it was a bit strange, but she could understand how some people would like "that" (or words to that effect). I don't get the impression that it portrays BDSM in a bad light, but I haven't seen it, so that is pure spec on my part.

i just got done watching this movie. it's not what you think. the trailer is a little misleading, in that it leads you to believe that Lee Lee Sobieski is an up start pro dom being mentored by Tricia Helfer(Six). basicley, Lee falls into the "role" as a means to re pay Six for some outfit she ruined. from then on the story unfolds with a "snatch" or "lock stock and 2 smoking..." feel to it. Lee and Six acted their parts well. i found Six to be very believable in the role of pro dom wile Lee was lacking too much confidence. in the begining of the movie it was fine but i think she should of had more of it toward the end. one thing i found odd was that Six screened her cliants by haveing them send in tapes of themselvs describing their ideal session. in this day and age of "you tube" and "my space" scandals i found this almost to hard to swallow. the movie was well done and had its share of laughs. i'm sorry to say that it was just your basic independent film where 2 of the main characters were pro doms. well one pro and one amateur. i will say that it did have several arousing moments in it and seeing Six in all her costumes was well worth the price. if you like independent film put this on your net flicks list because it is worth seeing.

Just wanted to note here that I watched it. You can find it at blockbuster in the new releases. Honestly, it doesn't have much to do with bdsm, it's more a crime movie with a dominatrix and a wannabe dominatrix as the main characters. Not too mind-blowing but it has its cute and funny moments. In regards to the guy in the head contraption, that was the criminal getting his hands on the dominatrix's tools.
