Does anyone make a riser or saw horse designed for use with a sybian? I have been looking, but have not found any good pics for ideas. I gearing up to making one that would allow easy locations to tie the rider down, and that would raise at least raise the knees above the floor if the ankles are secured folded.

We have a Sybian and have set it on top of the bondage bench a few times.  This gives us more bondage options and also allows the legs to be extended or folded up as we choose.

We sit ours on a low ottoman, but mine came with a small kind of cube-shaped seat or bench it could be placed atop also.  The ottoman allows opportunites for tie points, but could be tipped over, one supposes.

I am looking for something in a semi-permanent base that would take advantage of some of the existing screw holes. Since I hate to make this machine less portable. I am envisioning a square riser that would only be a few inches in height, and then make it adaptable for usage with a saw horse.

Be careful when trying to adapt sawhorses into bondage furniture.  I had the 'clever' idea once of making a super-portable horse/bench by adapting a folding sawhorse.  I found that sawhorses were intended only to support dead weight, not actively wiggling weight.  The footprint just wasn't wide enough, and there was a serious risk of tipping over.

I tend to fall  of the sybian just when its sitting on the floor by itself, Id be scared to add any height to it! lol

QuietDom you have a good point there. I have plenty of them fold up or fall over with just cutting wood. I will be making sure there is a nice wide and sturdy base. I certainly don't want any injuries from something like that. That would be no fun at all. ghitaPVH trust me no one will be falling off of this this baby when I am done. That is at least if properly secured for the ride. I got to work on this today, and hope have it finished mostly tomorrow.

I was going to bring something up here, something diabolical, but I will start another thread. I supose the idea could be used for a sybian, but, well. I'll get on it.

"seat belts"  lol I knew I was probably being a bit optimistic when I posted when I would expect to have this finished by. I do now have all the steel cut and waiting to be welded though. It is always annoying though when your job gets in the way of your hobby work:( This is also turning out to be very complex to allow for adaptability for size and position. I have to say I am debating if I should post clear pics as I have many hours into this, and I might decide to make a version to sell if things work as planned. I need a female model to try this thing out.....any volunteers?

Well forget that idea of making more these. This becoming a PITA. A 12"x12" area under the sybian is not a lot of room to work in. That plus me trying build in some major flexibility is causing troubles now that I have it all laid out. I will probably have to cut out some things. I do have a question on how to lock down telescoping parts. I have many areas that have square tubing one inside of the next. What is the best way to lock the position down? A series holes to screw threaded know down to lock, a threaded knob that just pushes on the outside of the inside piece, or perhaps a push pin like seen on weight room stuff.

Well this ended up taking MUCH more time then expected, but this is where I am at this point. Everything is in the white waiting to be welded, but I still have to figure out a few clearance problems before I weld. This is double decker design, so that the base that attached to the sybian can be removed  from the riser. This way it only raises it about 1-1/2", but it will still retain some attachment points. It will also allow it to be mounted to other devices where the height would be of no use. As you can see there are lots of places to attach extensions allowing any number of combinations of wrist, neck, waist, ankle, etc. restraints. It will also allow the bench that comes with the sybian to be hard fastened to the sybian. It will eventually allow that bench to be adjusted independent of the sybian for height and distance from the sybian, and will include locations for wrist and neck restraints. I *think* I see what you're doing, but I'm not entirely certain.  Could you post a photo showing the unit fully set-up, with the sybian in place?

Also, we're all curious to hear about the trial runs.  In lots of detail.  [;)]

Once you get the base unit all set up and secure, it might be fun to rig up some kind of a sling-harness to raise and lower the victi....uh, sub down onto the Sybian.

Perfect, then!  Machineman, new request; post a picture of the unit fully assembled, with the Sybian in place on it, and MNV tied into position, just to make it entirely clear how your contraption works.

Im starting to liek this whole idea of being tied down. would definantly help my falling off issue. Anyway, as to your telescopic problem, I make spanking benches with steel telescopic legs, and i just use a series of holes with a cotter pin.

Lol thanks QuietDom, but I do have to say I wouldn't mind taking up that offer 0:-) I don't think it would be too hard to catch my orgasm face either because on something as powerful as a sybian, especially if I was like tied onto it, I would probably be going pretty damn crazy. My orgasm face might turn into crying though lol.

Ok just kidding. I still have a bit more work to do to get it done, but it is moving along. How do you like my imitation of my Avatar? The base is on the table in front of me mostly together. The left assembly being for the sybian itself, and the right assembly being for the bench. Ran into the usual delays though running out of welding gas, welding the wrong parts together( not good at all ), attending my first event [sm=banana.gif], and of course work. As I hope you can tell the base will still need a number of attachments and extensions made that will fit into the base. Without those the base is just a complicated riser. Those will be easy though as they are much less complicated.

windchymes I like the way your kinky mind works. I think I already have an idea how to make your suggestion work. I intended to make this modular anyways, and I knew I was going to be buying a winch soon anyways. You get the first ride of that particular setup if you want it.

QuietDom I want nothing more then get the pics you requested. Unfortunately with me currently being single, and new to being openly in the scene I don't have anyone to play with  [:(]

MelsNaughtyVixen I always am told I should spend some time volunteering to help others, so maybe you should too. If you feel you need to be charitable with your time in this time of giving I would be happy to help. One warning though is that with all the flexibility I am building into this thing it might be a long session. You are not far away after all and I am up in DC often...

Lol maybe I could be charitable ;-) It sounds like a really hot idea but I think I would probably be like a complete mess and going crazy after not too long, but with no power to stop it I guess I would just have to suffer. I guess that's the point!
