afternoon every one,  Where to start? well a small introduction of myself, I have always been interested in BDSM, and have been more active with the S & M, especially in past relationships, unfortunately none have had any intrests in persueing a more Dom/Sub relationship, recently I have been tossed into a relationship where as my partner has expressed much intrest in the scene, but now while lurking around here as well as reading on BDSM over the past while I am just uncertain as were to begin what kind of scenes should we start with or good lead in ideas, I am quite egar to begin our play! Thanks in advance, (p.s I am a switch, and my partner is a sub )

whatever floats your boat. there's no playskool 'my first D/s scene' kit to go by..just explore what you find yourself drawn to. If you're into S&M, find some ways to hurt or be hurt.

Read everything. Talk to everybody. Ask every possible question of everybody. Watch every scene that you can.

Then, find what interests you and become the best you can at it. And most important, perhaps....remember to have fun.

you could also try your local bdsm group. they'll have a lot of resources and can help get you going in the right direction. They usually have demos where they show techniques for different kinds of play. Bring your partner along and you should both have quite a bit of fun with it.

Absolutely. Of course, make the most of your local BDSM groups and functions, including munches....network.

Vanatru, thanks for catching my slip. Sometimes I get spoiled by our great community here in the Atlanta area, and can take it for granted that everybody has such.

Lucky you, the closest to us is over 3 hours driving away, so I'm well aware. It's been a few years now since I've been a card-carrying member and it was something I enjoyed quite a bit. ...made my first flogger in one of the meetings years and years ago.

I'm a great believer in discussing what it is you both love and starting there. Work up to the stuff the sub is uncertain about or is sure they won't enjoy but will attempt to grit their teeth and try to get through. After all, nobody has a good time if it's necessary to safe word five minutes in.
