As someone who is a submissive T-girl herself, and has lived and worked as a female in jobs that are traditionally considered female in their grnder focus, I can make this suggest so as to insure there is not a sexual component, put your new employee in a chastity device, such as a CB2000 or CB3000. If the desire to have his feminization enforced, and if he is sincere, then being locked in a chastity device will insure that sexual self-gratification will be difficult, and dare I say it, painful. I know as I wear such a device, a pink CB2000 in my case.

I can't see hiring anyone to do anything unless they are competent. I go in for professional pedicures quite often. If I went in for a manicure or pedicure and the stylist didn't do the job properly, I would never go back to that salon. I'm paying for this, after all. Kink is kink, and business is business. If your customers are comfortable with your employees and receive good service from them, it doesn't matter what biological sex they are or whether you have a kinky relationship with them. But I would never shoot my business in the foot for the sake of anyone's kink, and I don't think any sub should expect you to do it either, regardless.

I love my salon for the reason that its all women. Its the only place i can go and talk to other girls about anything i want to including personal stuff. Sometimes i spend 5 hours there, 3 having hair colored 2 for manicure-pedicure. The atmosphere is comfy and all are loved. Even the teenage assistants are great for talking with. But it wouldnt be anywhere near the same with a male worker.

Well, is he/she (are they TV really TS) a good hairstylist? I think you should talk to him/her about the prospect of what happens when (not if) working there looses its erotic appeal. I mean, is he/she still going to come in on time and do the job when it becomes just another job? A lot more is hard to say without knowing the person. I've heard a lot on the Forced Femme/Transition debate. Im not going to comment aside from saying that I do believe a person can truely feel the desire to transition, and still want to make it kinky. >:P (I will however, watch this thread) ~submissiveAK~

First and foremost I would ask myself if this person is trained and or licensed to do the job you are considering hireing them for. Then I would ask myself if I am prepared to lose my vanilla clients if I hired this person. Then I would ask myself if this person wants a job or wants a fantasy. As others have stated, perhaps having this one serve at the kinky parties is best until you know what works and doesnt work. I personally have no problem with anyone who does a great job on my manicures and pedicures....I dont go in to know about their persoanl lives but to be pampered. That said, as a business owner, I would never mix business and kink unless I KNEW it wouldnt cause me to lose money and only you can answer that one.

I personally think it's a bad idea to hire someone simply cause they want to work for you to be in enforced femme. I'm a transwoman who has been living full-time since 2004 and have been out since I was 16 (I'm 32 now) I'm not going to get all heated and fired up because I see no point in doing so... I live my life simple as that. Now here is my view on this issue. the adjetive definition of transvestite is "receiving sexual gratification from wearing clothing of the opposite sex" the noun definition of transvestite is "someone who adopts the dress or manner or sexual role of the opposite sex" My point is this is one the act of dressing in cloting is a sexual turn on and that's fine if that's that person's desire, but just as someone who is turned on wearing a butt plug... I personally would not want to know about it in my work place, or would I desired to walk into most places in the service industry and hear about it or be commited to witnessing such and act. As a transsexual woman I typically don't get turned on by the clothing I wear to work or on a daily basis for that matter, and come to think of it even when I do dress in something that would be considered "hot" or "sexy" I'm not turned on by the clothing I'm turned on by the reaction I get from other people seeing me as "hot" or "sexy" and that's simply because it's a great boost to the ego. To be honest there is nothing "hot" about having to get up and hour earlier than I used to before my transition just to be able to look my best when meeting with clients for the day. I take my shoes off the moment I am in my office, why, because heels make my feet hurt not get me all hot and bothered. So unless your shop is one that strictly has a clientle of non vanilla people, then don't parade a fetish in front of their eyes. And for those that says hire a Woman or a Transexual instead, do realize this if she hires a Transexual then she is hiring a Woman.

One other consideration is...what do you want the salon to be? Will your regular clientele accept this person as a stylist/nail tech/whatever you choose for them to be? If they won't, and if you don't have clientele who will continue to patronize your business, doing this would be a colossal error in judgment. Also, if this is something you want, is it something the TVTS in question will stick with...if you're gonig to take such a risk with your business, you really need to know that.

After reading all the responses I feel like I should throw in my 2 cents. I myself am transitioning right now and, like anyone in gender transitioning can atest to, having pretty much no luck in getting employment. Kind of funny too considering how many different business regulations have been passed by capital hill regarding this matter but of course as our current economy is showing America loves to make rules but not follow them. But moving along. I definitely think you should hire an employee that is transgendered in some way for your shop. However, I am curious to know if your salon and spa is openly GLBT friendly (i.e. gay pride flags or stickers out front, current employees that belong to these communities, etc) or is it more you have no problem catering to the GLBT community and don't really advertise that is is in fact friendly towards the community? If your business is openly friendly and your clientale is aware of this openeness then I honestly don't see where too many of your conservative clientale will leave. Some will yes; that's just unfortunately unavoidable. But if your salon and spa is openly friendly like I described then I think your clientale base won't suffer too much. If your business isn't openly friendly then it will greatly affect your clientale unfortunately. Unless of course the applicant in question can pass very convincingly then I think you're still good. Of course I think if your salon and spa fall into this category then you might want to send a personal note addressed to your regular clientale informing them of the change. Sure it's risky and could potentially backfire but it also has the same chances of giving the client more time to accept it and let it stew in their head. Not to mention then personal addressing of the matter will really make the client feel like they're an extremely important part of the business (which of course they are) and may very well sway their opinion. Moving on past that if you do hire this applicant they should be introduced slowly and in small doses to the shop enviroment. Like I've read from posts by females describing their preferred salons and such the enviroment is typically all female so breaking this should be handled very delicately. I agree with everyone that thinks having the applicant come in at closing and towards closing to start small duties is a great way to start as well as maybe employ them as an errand runner for clients (i.e. go and get little shopping tasks done or other small daily errands that the client needs to attend to after their salon visit is over). Who knows maybe employeeing them in the latter capacity could really open up the minds of some of your conservative clientale. I agree with everyone else posts about seperating the kink from the business. I think it's great that you want to encourage this applicant's force femming or budding femininity but if it's going to be in the work enviroment then it needs to be as professional as possible. I can't speak for everyone but even as someone in transition I really don't want to go to a salon where an employee is the reciepitent of some kinky play during business hours that is blantantly obvious to everyone and their grandma. Obviously you can employ things that can't be seen like chastity or extreme underthings if you want to retain some kink to it but that's about as far as I'd go. Otherwise it just comes off as though you're bringing a sleazy element into a place of business that is all about being polished and admired. Now your idea of doing a party after closing hours I think is fantastic and you should definitely research more into. Maybe install some sort of blinds system to go over the front windows when you do so no unwanted peekers can look in and spoil the fun. So ultimately as far as that aspect goes do it if you want but remain professional about it during business hours. After hours take it to the maximum as you said. However also look at the business aspect of this kind of proposal. You could ultimately feminize this applicant with surgeries, training, schooling, etc to be the picture perfect representation of your business capability and write it off as a business expense. Sure it may sound extreme on paper (and I imagine just as extreme in reality) but it already sounds like this applicant is seeking something along these lines. Retain a certain percentage of their wages to cover necessary costs and such but in the end you'd literally have an employee that you groomed to be exactly what you wanted and at tax time get reimbursed for most of it. And it doesn't just have to stop at the cosmeotology aspect but could even extend to learning the entire business and possibly carrying it on when you no longer desire to. Just because they're submissive doesn't mean that have to be incompentent or fully dependent for the rest of their life. Not to mention if things went south in the future between the 2 of you the applicant would now have a skilled trade they could do for a living as well as the confidence to live in the lifestyle of a transgendered person. I for one would totally volunteer for something like this and who knows if you want down this path you could start a new trend. I mean something like this is just a variation on employers sending employees to school to better their working potential. In addition, this is really a practice (at least not the changing of genders) that goes back to ancients time with masons or artisans and their apprentices. Sure in the end it's a large investment but at the same time well worth it since you're acquiring an employee to be precisely what you want in every employee. Something like that goes a very long ways in making a business even more successful. So that's it; that's my 2 cents. I hope it helps and I hope it's something that inspires more creative thinking for you and your business in the future. I'm not aware of knowing any transgendered people well, but I've met a few in the kinky community. I would happily hire any qualified FtM or MtF for any job they were qualified for in terms of their professional skills, and would have no difficulty being prepared for an operation by a MtF nurse any more than I would by a cisgendered woman, for example. But the guys I've met who were transvestites were another ball of wax entirely. They were getting a sexual charge from it, wanted to linger over it, get extreme and ritualistic and very vain and appearance focused. The transgender people I met, by contrast, regarded the various aspects of female grooming practices as many women do, as a tiresome chore that has to be done for societal acceptability reasons. The comment by butterflyawaken above is a prime example; I'm female, and hate doing ultra-femme presentation because heels make my feet hurt, too. There's no sexual charge there, unless you count the confidence given in your general societal acceptability by a good hair cut and a flattering outfit. (Which I don't.)

You are running a business. You are running a business... Your employees must be competitent, friendly, and reliable. If you mix kink/sex in with your business - you open yourself for a sexual harassment lawsuit and loss of reputation, business and income. If this person is competitent in your field, friendly and reliable, happens to be in transition, and you have an interest in serving the TS/TG community then all the better. If they have limited or no skills, are looking for you to "require/force" them to dress/transition, then what are you getting out of it other than significant legal risk? It is a great fantasy and you can read about it in hundreds of stories of TG fiction...but it is, IMO, in no way practical or advisable for the business owner...

Hia I am a shy sub cd/tv and would love to work and live as a women for a duration!! How long a duration I do not know! But I often dream of being force femmed and made to do something like this!! To me it would be great to do for a change. I dress when I get the chance and urge,I go for drives,walks,tv venues etc when I want or can... Two weeks later I was serving them 24/7, I had to wear a chastity belt for the duration of my ,and they removed all my male cloths etc.I stayed with them for 2 amazing weeks!! they picked what I wore if we went out etc and looked after me. As they did not want to draw attension to them selves, if going out at daytime I would have to wear flat shoes,jeans or long skirts jumpers etc.Sometimes if they were having friends round sexy mini skirts etc. But from the first minute I walked in they asked me to dress as jemma,which I did! then theyasked me to bring up all my cloths,makeup shoes etc. They removed all my male attire and took it away to be kept at there workplace!! they then inspected all my female cloths shoes make-up etc and then gave me a manicure and pedicure,and painted all my nails a dark red!!!!!!! I was then told to change into fem jeans long jumper and my flat dance shoes,also tights bra etc. Then told to just wear very light minimal make-up! I did this and then to my utr dispare was told we were going out!!! I was terrified but I left the security of their house with one of them!! as we walked we chatted and I tried the best to calm myself down and relax. !0 minutes later we are walking around a big shop that seems to stock everything looking for certain products and flower arranging thing etc. It was an amazing experience and totally embarrassing especially when after paying,I was handed the shopping bags to carry,so i had to show my beautifully painted nails to the two shop assistans and the world on the way back............. I spent the next two weeks in a female role,cleaning,cooking ironing etc I leart alot and had to work really hard all day,I also had to give them manicures,pedicures etc which they taught me and how to put on nail varnish!! It was a amasing experience. I also had to serve there friends if they had a party and wear short skirts n Hi eels etc. My 3rd night there they invited 10 people over, I was totally terrified all day leading up2 it,I had to help prepare everything and was kept busy all the time!! with an hour to go I was told to go take a bath and then told to wear my favourite dress with my highest heels,stockings etc.The hour seemed to fly by and I was scarred stiff of meeting all these people and wondering what they would think!! But all th people eventually arrived nd I was introduced to them all,I could tell they had not been warned about me and was later to find out they were abit worried how some of their friends might react. The evening went great and all the people were so nice to me and very interested in my views etxc I had a great evening and over the next 2 weeks I was forced to do many other things ie go fetch bread every morning,we went site seeing,and around a museum,we also ate in a busy restraunt but I worked the whole duration,I soon hope again to repeat the experience for alot longer duration and would love to work in a salon etc I spend alot of time looking on this site and others to no avail.I think its a great idea sorry to drag that out xxx

I'd tell him you are thinking of offering permanent cosmetics and would like him to go to a class to learn it, there are many classes that use the students as models for training. You would find out quickly if he/her is serious and commited. You may end up with a bigger profit from it.
