velvetears -> A Foxy Question (12/6/2007 10:09:57 AM)

i have been using firefox for a few months - liked it better the IE, but after the last update it did, it screwed up the viewing portion of the screen and there is a big grey area with nothing. i cannot seem to get rid of this. It's above the start button panel and is about 3 inches tall. There is a ^ on the left side in red, i click on it but nothing happens. If anyone out there can help, how do i fix it?

Your description sounds like a debug, control, or monitoring panel/window option is turned on. Have you tried going through the various menu choices and turning off various features to see if that area goes away?

I know, my solution isn't very technical nor sure, but as I'm a Mac user, I'm not used to what all the various menu options are for displaying many different things about that browser.
