"Happy Hannukah!  Say, think your Saviour would like a dradle?  It's kinda nifty, what with the colours, and the wood, and the spinny spinny motion...I can get it for him wholesale!  L'chaim!"

Hey it's a bunch of days off of work even if I'm forced to spend one of them with my crazy family!

I picked seasons greetings because I'm all PC and stuff....haha....

Status: offline 		I love christmas ! I say Merry christmas and Happy New Year and I normally gush on about how I hope they have a great year to come.  If the card is for my mom I normally mention something religous as we're Christians.

I'm a sucker for holidays.  I love sending cards, Halloween is my favorite I just love all the cards with spiders and witches and ghosties.

Then again, I was dyslexic as a child and always sent my letters asking for presents to Satan....

there are two kinds of people that this nonsence arguement should be atributed to.

the ones that hear Merry Christmas (or Happy Channukah or whatever) and scream "Dont push your reliegon on me" and the ones that after they hear that they will repeat themselves.

If some one wishes you a happy or merry whatever, they are giving you their blessing to have a good day of whatever their relegion gives them room for. take it as it come and shut the fuck up. This arguement is as annoying as the holidays are.

Once when I was cutting someones hair I asked them what they were going to do for Christmas.  His answer was nothing, I saoid  "oh no, why not?!" and he answered "Because I'm Jewish" I then said "Oh no, I'm so sorry."  He said he loved my sense of humour and that he loved the "run for him money' that I gave him.. Now, I meant the "Oh no, I'm sorry' as oh no, I'm sorry I asked, not Oh no, I'm sorry your Jewish.  That guy had such a great sense of humour that even a year later whilst cutting his hair he was still joking about it.  He said he came back to me because he'd never had such a good time getting his hair cut.

So, I think your right, if someone wishes you a merry something, it's meant to be as a blessing.  I think it's best to accpet it with grace even if you don't celebrate.  Cutting hair, I've gotten cards and gifts for all kindsa holiday I didn't even know existed, and I loved each one.  I even recieved little cards of money for the chineese new year, how cool is that?!

Status: offline 		I am a Christian, so I always say "Merry Christmas", I am not one to be politically correct when it comes to religion.  If they want to say something else back to me, I respect their right to do so.
