Gor Aid
(song parody - based on Band Aid's 'Do They Know It's Christmas?')

tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jEnTSQStGE

It's Christmas time, there's no need to be afraid
At Christmas time, and this is time for Gor Aid
And at this time in this festive season
We can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around a Gorean
At Christmas time
And say a prayer
To pray for the Goreans
At Christmas time
For Gor too
And they're also having fun
Their's is a world outside your window
And it's the world of John Milton
Where all the Masters and slaves
Are living a life on John Milton's books as a basis
But their Christmas bells which ring out
And they have the same wishes and cheer
Well tonight open your heart to the Goreans
And treat them like one of us
And it's just the same for Goreans at Christmas time
No different just because they have a different life
Forget the dirty looks, or the fact they live a life based on books
So let a Gorean know it's Christmas time right now
Here's to Gor raise a glass to all of them
Here's to them you can bet they're having fun
Let a Gorean know it's Christmas time right now

Greet the Gor
Greet the Gor
Greet the Gor
Let them know it's Christmas time
- repeat -

I think's it's John Norman, not Milton, lol.

Inaccurate as well as condescending and intolerant.

The real-life Goreans I have come to know are decent folks well grounded in reality, who take their philosophy and inspiration from the books by John Norman.  Cyber-Goreans silly behavior in chatrooms aside, the real-life people will say that the flashy bits of the Gorean lifestyle, eg, the slave girls and suchlike, are not at all important to them.  What they do consider important are the ideals, philosophies and codes of honor described in the books, which they take and build on in ways that are personally meaningful to them.

Because the novels do contain quite a bit of, ahem, flashy bits, a lot of people are superficially attracted to the ideas and spend time in chat rooms pretending to be Gorean Warrior Ninja Master Assassin Ubars in order to get hawt nubile slave girls to have cybersex with them.  Said girls are probably men in cyber-drag getting their jollies anyhow, but that's beside the point.  The cyber-Goreans are pretty silly and deserve any fun that is being made of them.  The real life folks who draw their inspiration from Gor but do have a good grounded notion of the difference between fantasy and reality, not so much.

If you don't agree with a specific lifestyle, whether it's gay or bi or trans or femdom or male dom or Gorean, don't play that way - but respect the people who do.

Greetings
stella you have a message on the other side. Further, I would like to refer you to your own tag line. The irony is in stark contrast to your post.
