valleyslave -> question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/9/2007 12:58:43 PM)

My Master tells me I aways complain alot, yet he complains as much as I do if not more.Who has the right too?

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/9/2007 1:12:28 PM)

Whatever you agree upon.

Instead try asking what exactly he defines as complaining, what words he does not want you to use and find more constructive ways of communicating your issues.

And if you don't want to be with a master who is always complaining, then find one for yourself.

Is this guy your Master?  Or are you in a 50-50, even-steven, equal relationship?  What did you negotiate regarding complaining?

i get accused of being just an old fart who doesn't understand much but my guess is that if you stop complaining, HE will have less to complain about.

I told my former sub she was welcome to ask any question or make any comment -- provided she asked permission first. I never refused her.

What causes you both to be such complainers?

angelslave77 -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/9/2007 3:24:03 PM)

if you are both always complaining I would be wondering if there are deeper issues needing to be addressed

valleyslave -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/9/2007 4:16:00 PM)

you might be right it could be something deeper than we think that need to come to surface. thank you

domahpet -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/9/2007 4:21:40 PM)

"Do as I say and not as I do" is a valid approach for dominants to take with their submissives...

Here is a common conversation around Sinergy's abode....

Me: But--
Him: You are arguing again!
Me: No I am not!
Him: You just did it again!
Me: But--
Him: You are arguing again....
Me: am not!
Both of Us: *laughter*

I will tell you what I get told... stop arguing! There is no winning when you argue with your dom, and there is everything to lose, and what are you out to "win" anyways?

Gardenista -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/9/2007 4:58:56 PM)

Hubby is more inclined to be tolerant of my complaints if they're ones he agrees with, lol

tdslittlehelper -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/13/2007 12:02:11 AM)

Sometimes Sir tells me I am whining.. I don't see it as whining... I just see it as talking.  But I change my out look.  He is in charge after all....

MasterFireMaam -> RE: question masters complaining vs slave complaining (12/13/2007 2:59:15 AM)

He does. As for you, it will depend on what he says. Seems that he thinks you complain too much. If you don't like that dynamic, you can ask to renegotiate that point.

Whatever works best for the both of you to maintain a happy, healthy relationship is the best thing to do.

However personally if he was always venting to me yet I was never allowed to display any feelings except happiness and serenity, I wouldn't have gotten into a relationship with him.  He wants me to vent to him, to safely talk out my stresses in the circle of his arms. He doesn't want me pretending to be someone I'm not.

I'm curious as to why you got into a relationship with someone who made it obvious early on he wasn't interested in being a full partner. You chose him, you have all these clashes, maybe it's time to do some work on why you chose someone who doesn't care if you're happy or not.

Reminds me of Monty Python's, "I'd like to have an argument"

Neither is right. It is simply counter-productive. If there is a problem, partners need to sit down and DISCUSS, NOT COMPLAIN, BITCH, MOAN OR GROAN. Resolve it and move on

<cough, choke>  Ok......  Ummm... the comment of "BS" comes to mind here.  We are ALL human... we ALL make mistakes.... we are ALL wrong about some things.  The strength comes in admitting when it happens and meaning it when we say we are sorry.
