I got an email form a longtime friend this morning telling me about the coolest lifestyle social he had ever been to...it was a TAZER PARTY...apparently this is a new hot big deal....was new to me, but then he lives in London...he told me apparently everyone at the party tried out the tazer...some at very low levels, others were a little more adventurous....Have you ever heard of Tazer Parties?? would you participate in one???

I've never heard of a TAZER party, even though I'm in London. However I've heard of TIZER which is a red coloured fizzy soft drink a bit like IRN BRU (which is orange and apparently made in Scotland from girders) which isn't like Dr. Pepper. But I guess I'll shut up now.

I've been electrocuted before, no thanks.  It's really not all that fun...  things just sort of flash white, then flash black and then you tingle oddly for a few hours.

I can see the fun in little localized zaps like with TENS and violet wands and some other items, but the full body zap feeling isn't much of anything to feel.  Especially for the risks.

Tazers aren't terribly high risk or anything, but you certainly don't get enough fun out of them to take what risk there is, in my opinion.

I have never been tazered--but now I know I will try it just to be part of the  trendy group...and I do have some sort of morbid curiosity about trying it...

I tried one at a kinky 'exploratorium'.  It isn't that bad at a low level, feels kind of like a paddle smack, but makes you twitch at the same time.  The thing is, in play, they just use it for an instant, on peripheral places.  You have to maintain contact for several seconds on the upper body for the 'stun gun' affect.  I haven't done my own research about the risks, but from what I understand, using it in the way I described at the exploratorium is not un-safe, the man doing the demonstration was trusted and reliable with a good reputation.  Not that you should take my word for it.  Do your own research.
