Not on exactly the same front, but Sir and I have very different religious beliefs. I think that it was even our first in-person meeting where I told him of my religious beliefs and told him that while I don't need the person I'm with to have the same belief system that I do, I need to know that it is respected and accepted. It's as much of a hard limit for me as scatplay is. ;) (Well, maybe a little less of a hard limit than scatplay...) He doesn't hold the same beliefs that I do, but he accepts and understands that my faith life is important to me. We can discuss religion and religous philosophy in a dynamic, interesting way and while he has never said so, I think it might be refreshing for him to know someone who is religious and has no need to convert him. :-P My point being, as other have said, we all have things that are very important to us and the right people will in some way accept it as a part of us. You keep a hold of your ethics, they make you who you are and that is someone worth knowing.
