This is it guys...
I'm bowing out.. it's time to prepare properly for later this week.. I'm nervous and excited..
I'm putting pen to paper and having gathered my sources I'm writing down my own theory of modern theatre for the US authorities so they can allow me the time I need to develop these theories and put them into practice working with the people who were affected two years ago by Hurricane Katrina, in the hope they will allow me through my work and what I do to help these people who have lost their former lives and such which were washed away by the flood waters..
These are my dreams and my hopes.. and I'm crossing the Atlantic to share these dreams and hopes, and hopefully to help others find their dreams and fulfill their hopes.. I'm meeting with my SO/Domme and hopefully transforming a very beautiful online friendship/relationship into something real, long term, hopefully even permanent....
..and another Collarme success story.. The story began shortly before Hurricane Katrina.. I was in Polish theatre and transitioning, and had written a play in Polish for Poles in Polish theatre about life and death called ..'Death'. I wrote this play the day before Hurricane Katrina hit the United States. I came out publicly in Poland as I am now.. and the play was never staged... I was forced to return to London.. where I translated the play into English.. tried and failed to stage the play in London.. (it was to have opened this month at a pub in South London)..
Knowing I would have to leave Poland as I planned to come out publicly as Stella in support of Polish gays and lesbians I wrote my profile on Collarme shortly after Hurricane Katrina.. looking for emotional support, a Domme... a new life.. anything..
It's been a difficult couple of years.. but she appeared.. and it just so happened that she was one of the heroines of Hurricane Katrina.. a woman who saved lives of those around her during the storm and who has not just rebuilt her life and family and home.. but who has helped me rebuild my life.. and who now offers me a place in her home and family...
I am leaving with nothing much more than dreams and hopes.. maybe a sense of destiny.. I fly out on the 13th December 2007... the 26th anniversary of the imposition of martial law in Poland.. I'm nervous.. but excited..
Therefore I'm going to be absent from these boards, if not Collarme for some time.. nothing in life is guaranteed and not all dreams and hopes are fulfilled... but this is what I do, I live and work with dreams, my own and those of other people.. I follow my dreams in life no matter where they lead..
I'd like to wish you all a Happy Holiday from myself and from Halley and hope that you all have a wonderful, peaceful and joyous time where all the wishes which have built up over the year come true..
Id' also like to say thank you for the support and help that you have shown me, for your inspiration, your wisdom, for making me laugh, making me think, and helping me find my self-confidence, and reassurance and faith that there is some sort of future out there..
It's a kind of 'stage fright'.. new country, new people, new society..and a new chapter in my artistic career, which I've decided to dedicate to helping those less fortunate..and am hoping the above-named play as my first in the States, dedicated those who lost their lives in Katrina, others who have lost almost as much but who stayed alive, and also dedicated to CM, both the people who work behind it and the people who use it for bringing me back to life and giving me new inspiration and confidence.
Gosh! With the length of this can't you just tell I'm a 'luvvie'..?
But anyway.. once again.. thank you, you've been wonderful..and I'm hoping to be back both on the stage and somewhere here sometime in 2008...
