I have to prefice this by saying that coming from a pretty traditional Asian background, we celebrated and still celebrate Christmas a little differently.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Neither… I just take the person I’m buying for with me to go shopping.

2. Real tree or artificial?
Real

3. When do you put up the tree?
Whenever I get around to it

4. When do you take the tree down?
When it doesn’t smell good anymore

5. Do you like eggnog?
Ewww…

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Books! (I was, and still am, a total nerd.)

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
No. They kind of creep me out.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
A friend who always manages to get me the perfect gift!

9. Easiest person to buy for?
My family. They always let me know around December 1st what they want.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Candles

11. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Neither. I don’t write them.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
White Christmas

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
December 20th-ish

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
Yes.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
Steamed kalbi.

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree?
Clear and no ornaments at all.

Silent Night.

Travel home.

No. I never believed in Santa or any of that stuff because I didn’t know any of that was associated with Christmas until I started school.

As soon as I get them.

Crowds, everywhere!

3. When do you put up the tree? I put it up this past Saturday, but it varies from year to year.
4. When do you take the tree down?  It varies, but usually the first weekend after New Years
5. Do you like eggnog? It's okay.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? An antique dressing mirror (I was a strange child.)
7. Do you have a nativity scene? No
8. Hardest person to buy for? My father
9. Easiest person to buy for? My mother
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Post-its from one of my authors.  I slaved away on three of her books last year, and she gave me Post-its.  Not even cute Post-its, but scary, creepy, religious ones. This year, she gave me expired chocolate.  Grr.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I don't have one.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas.  A few days before Christmas
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Paper, I love watching the kids tear into the gifts!2. Real tree or artificial?    REAL! just dont tell anyone I cut it down out of my aunts back yard cause we couldnt afford the $100 price tag on the trees in town this year.
3. When do you put up the tree?  Weekend before Christmas
4. When do you take the tree down? The Day after.
5. Do you like eggnog? Hell yea, with rum and spices. Its the only thing that gets me through the holidays.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I got a car when I was 15..before that Id have to say the puppy I got when I was 9.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? 6 of them, two are hand made, hand painted porcelin figurine sets made by god mother, got to be my most prized christmas decorations.

9. Easiest person to buy for? The 2yo UM. As long as it has a train on it, hes happy!
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Sweaters. Who the hell buys fat people sweaters, they make us look like fuzzy balloons.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?  Whats the one about poking your eye out?
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas.  Christmas Eve. Ok, that was just last year...normally around Halloween.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not that I can think ok.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Wild boar, its the only time Daddy lets me go hunting anymore.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? All the stores are packed, My Sir gets angry and depressed and starts cussing at everyone who mentions the word Christmas about how useless a holiday is and how he cant understand why all of america forces themselves to go into debt to buy useless gifts that they feel compelled to buy and why we constantly raise our children telling them not to lie and then the entire world thinks its ok to lie to them about santa claus.

2. Real tree or artificial? Neither this year.. I'm allergic to real ones and the fake ones are a pain to put up.. if my family wants one, they have to take care of it this year
