I was wondering if slave can have limits or are there limits only those of your Master.

Welcome to the CM forums Kinky. There have been many threads on the rights of a slave, which will be interesting reading for you. The short answer is, and the one you will hear most commonly, is it depends on what you and your Master negotiate.

Op the reason you are seeing this response is this is a subject where the regular posters disagree rather vigorously and it is brought up quite often. There is no one answer. Find someone that fits your idea of what limits should be and discuss them openly.

I understand you wouldn't know this is a hot topic of debate or there are many threads like this on the forum, however there are. I would suggest the search function would be helpful.

There is no should or shouldn't, there is just reality. If you do something you know she can't handle, she'll resent you and eventually walk for causing her physical and/or emotional trauma.

Next question should be if we need a licensing committee for self proclaimed dominants who need to learn the difference between porn and real life.

If you enjoy an unusually high level of compatibility you will have pretty much the same limits. With that said, I have to limit inverted suspension because it gives me vertigo. We are on the same page on most things but he doesn't suffer from vertigo and I do. Therefore to protect my physical health, I limit anything that would start it off. This includes taking my prescription nasal spray that also stops the attacks.

As it happens there are things that would damage me emotionally. He may not share my phobia about duct tape, but deliberately destroying my trust in him by using my phobia against me, and setting off a panic attack is not bright. He could do it if he wished. But he could only do it once because I would lose trust in him and withdraw consent to him having authority over me in the future.

And honestly, if there are 100 things she can happily do, and three she can't, what's wrong with you that you can't be happy with the one hundred activities and instead obsess over the three that would make her ill?

Never got to join in with this type of thread before, so here's my say: humans have limits, people can only go so far in anything. So find the right human who goes far enough to your tastes.

Yes they should. Seriously, that is the right answer and the only right answer.

You must have limits against doing anything greviously illegal or hurtful. You cannot go seduce a 12 yr old because your owner wants a 12 yr old slave. You cannot engage in snuffing someone else because your owner says to.

Your owner may never push your limits to the point where you refuse them, but that doesnt mean the limits dont exist.
