Does being a submissive or slave improve your sexual pleasure or make it possible to enjoy your orgasms?  Reason I ask is  because  one woman claims to have orgasms by being inflicted pain.

wouldn't that tend to indicate some commerce with that line of reasoning then?

What does getting sexual pleasure from pain have to do with being submissive or a slave?

Well her "claim" is probably true.  However, it's not sexual to everyone and not necessarily orgasmic even when it is sexual.  Everyone is different. For many people sexual pleasure has nothing to do with being a submissive or slave.  For some it does.  I can orgasm from pain if I'm allowed to.  Others can't.  Others would never want to.

Clear as mud?  I thought so.

I am sexual.
I am a submissive.
I am sometimes a sexual submissive.

There are moments when one has nothing to do with the other.

Being a masochist is not being submissive. One can be both, but they are not the same thing. There are submissive masochists, there are masochists that are not submissive, and there are submissives that are not masochistic at all.

I have more orgasms since I found myself submissively. I do not know if it is my age, better partner ( I think that is the part of it that is the most true), or that submissiveness gets me off. I think it is a soup of all of the above.

For some, the intensity they feel in a D/s or M/s dynamic is greater than what they ever felt in a "vanilla" one, because they are now in a relationship they are better suited for.  This may then lead to the claims that sexual pleasure is greater, as the person is more fulfilled.  That is the case with me.  It is the connection I feel as his slave, which is unlike any connection I experienced before, in any dynamic.

For some, sex is sex, and might be seen as something separate for their dynamic, in which case the question may be irrelevant.

Well said.

I am both an extreme submissive and an extreme masochist.

I have been submissive all my life, but have only been in a Master/slave relationship for eleven months. Still, even during all the years I lived a vanilla lifestyle, I was never able to have an orgasm without thinking of submissive/masochistic fantasies. I've always gotten off on being dominated/treated roughly, even if it was only in my head.

The difference now is that it's for real, and I'm amazed at the way my body responds to my Master. It's as if his voice has a direct connection to my pussy that can completely bypass any rational thought I might have. If he says I'm going to come, it's true. If he says he's going to hurt me when I come, I come faster. If he gives me the pain while I'm coming, it can make me come again immediately.

My orgasms come easier and are more intense when erotic pain is involved.  Hope that's what you were asking.

Well... being submissive (in the bedroom) does add to my sexual pleasure... but it's sounds like the OP is refering to being a masocist...

Yes, is she getting orgasms directly from the pain, or from submitting to enduring the pain?

Being a submissive doesn't mean my sexual pleasure is any more or less.... I'm a submissive in and out of play so I don't equate the two as one in the same.  I personally am not one to orgasm from pain (I tried it, and sad to say there was no cummin from this girl).  For me, improving my sexual pleasure has to do with knowing my body, and my partner (in this case my Sir) knowing what makes me orgasm.  Of course, allowing my biggest sexual organ (my brain) to be stimulated has by far been the biggest discovery as far as sexual pleasure.

Yes, it is more when I am allowed to be submissive. The deeper submission, the greater pleasure (mentally and physically).

I've never found it impossible to enjoy an orgasm whether I was being kinky or not.  Orgasms are pleasurable any which way you have them.

We probably have as much non-kinky "vanilla" sex as kinky sex, and I enjoy both to the fullest, just for different reasons. Our vanilla sex is usually the " we are horny, let's get off" variety, lol.

Study physiology.  There are relationships between the pleasure/pain areas of the brain and the circuitry involved.
People respond differently to different things.  Almost anything is possible.

The deeper my submission..........the more pain involved.............the better my orgasms are.  I can still have pretty good ones during "vanilla" experiences, but when you combine submission and pain (or even just one of them), they are so much better and stronger.
