Being damaged at work in the harbor gave me profound neuropathy.  On those infrequent times that I do not take the medicine I take at bedtime, and sometimes all on its own whether I take the meds or not, pain leaves me in tears on my couch most of the next day.  I have described the pain as if somebody has set a car on my left arm, while some joker has a bike pump and is inflating my fingers.  This simultaneous feeling of being crushed and overinflated that is simply cognitively maddening.

The doctor is giving it a few months to see if it heals on its own, and if it doesnt start to do this, what would probably happen would be an ulnar nerve relocation and excise a portion of the nerve.

Then I get to let that go through it's year long healing process as well.
