The Mitchell Report, due out today, was a 20-month study conducted by former Senate leader George Mitchell. The investigation was ordered by Baseball commissioner Bud Selig to investigate sterioid-abuse in the sport. According to early reports, the Mitchell Report will name 60-80 former and current Major League baseball players, many of them all-stars and MVPs.

ESPN reports that one of the names is 6-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens and Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte. Other big names include Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, Albert Pujols, Jason Giambi, Jose Conseco, and Red Sox catcher Jason Veritek.

In the midst of all the troubles, it is positively heartwarming to see that somebody has the priorities straight.
