I hate winter mostly due to the dark but also because my knuckles start to leak blood at various locations which is annoying to say the least. I’m not sure this is normal but I attribute it to the cold wind flow.

Wohoooooooo! Today actually felt like WINTER! I was outside freezing my ass off and smiling about it. The other day it was 81 degrees here! I moved to NC from CA hoping for, if not a white Yuletide, then a cold one! It just seems weird to me to be in shorts and a tank this time of year, but that's just me. And NC could use some precipitation; there are places here with less then two months of water left. I've switched to paper and plastic.

Bounty,
For some reason, spending 3 days stuck inside with you and Diane does not seem like it would be so bad.

I would enjoy some cooler weather (supposed to be cooler next week or so they say), wish I didn't have to run the AC, it's 75 right now at 10:10 pm,

I was in Florida for Thanksgiving and we had it outside. It was just too weird.

My mom lives there and keeps her a/c at 76. I keep my heat at 68.

So, I will take the snow and cold over heat any day.

If it came down to a choice of either heat or cold, I would chose warm over cold.
I've lived here so long that I have grown accustomed to it (the cold we experience down here is a different type of cold).
The homes are/were built differently for the warmer climate so we really aren't prepared for the bitter cold.

The first few weeks of cooler/cold weather are always a nice change but after those few weeks I am ready to get back to warmer weather, lol.

Personally, I love Fall & Spring better than Summer or Winter.

This morning, I was awakened by someone knocking on my my door telling me that if I do not move my car out of the parking lot, it will be towed. The plow was here. Grrrr

I had to jump out of bed, get dressed and run to the lot. Luckily, the head maintenance guy was nice enough to have brushed the snow off all the cars first, so all I had to do was move it.

After that, I went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and then back to bed.

Ahhhh winter.

I'm hoping that when we go visit my mother, there will be snow, because my UM keeps mentioning it and I love snow.
