Rover -> RE: The Collar (12/14/2007 8:57:34 AM)

Historically, a collar is a symbol of ownership.  But no one will hunt you down and inflict unspeakable horrors upon you if it means something different to you (unless you want them to do so).

The Collar: What does it mean?

No no no, you're all wrong. The collar is talking to him and apparently in a language, an accent, or in intangible ideas which he doesn't understand.

b4, we'll need to be inspecting this collar ourselves in order to decipher its cryptic prophecies. Fortunately all of us here can speak Collarese. I, for one, love the native Collarian tongue.

littlebitxxx -> RE: The Collar (12/14/2007 1:50:13 PM)

I think you may be onto something, batshalom.  Once a collar is around the neck doesn't it turn into some weird translation device...sorta like what you speak comes out garble?  Collarian?  You may be right.  I think I read in high school about that tribe where no means yes and up is down and nothing is what it seems.  Come to think of it, I seem to remember they tailed off in a very short time frame after the men died from gastric extension.  That's why it's now suck not blow.
