FangsNfeet -> CBS and Michael Vick (12/14/2007 7:28:39 PM)

Has anyone watched Thursdays episode of CSI Las Vegas? Does CBS have a thing against Micheal Vick or is it just a coincidence that CBS would release a CSI episode that envolved Dog Fighting as a subject? The CSI episode went into detail not only about the fighting, but also the cruel training and breading practices.

Vicks and his lawyers are franticly doing everything in there power for appeals or to atleast insure the jail sentence only goes for the minimum 18mths. For them, last nights episode of CSI had to be a bad dream come true. After all, the episode can only add fuel to the fire of angry people who don't want to see Vick get off easy. Should another trial ever come up, selecting a jury might become more difficult.

Here's a little info on Vick.

CSI, like Law and Order(s) makes some of their storylines "Straight From The Headlines"  and they usually run a disclaimer.

I never watch any of those CSI shows.  Vick had his trial, and he is only doing a little under 2 years in prison.  He is not going to be put in general population, and I imagine he will get sent to a minimum security unit at that.  It's really not that bad, and he needs to stop bitching and take his medicine like a man.

He hasn't bitched at all... where did you get that from?

Many are bitching that the sentence is not tough enough.

In the CSI episode, the Ring Leader was not only killed, but then mauled and partially eaten by her own dogs.

Some feel that Vicks Judges and Jury should have been down by a pack of Dovermens, Rotts, and German Sheperds. If Vick and out run them for 100 yards and not get mauled to death, then he's a free man.

That's what I've read and heard from certain animal activist.
