That headline is on the front page of todays newspaper! (The Sun News, Myrtle Beach, S.C.) DAMN! The Chinese won't even buy their own toys because of fears of defects and lead paint poisoning!!! I wonder what Mattel and Hasbro and all the other "american" companies will have to say about this?

PaHunk, I know! They won't buy their own stuff that they KNOW is dangerous but they think WE will? I mean they expect US to buy that shit?

It floors me that the execs told us - this would be the safest holiday ever. then of over 1000 toys tested 35% had lead in them. Wonder what the execs kids play with? Consider that this is hazzardous waste- it might not be able to be thrown out as regular trash. The bank made such an issue when I bought this house over paint that was leaded. In the interest of time- I removed many doors to get the mortgage. Yet- now my neices and nephews can play with toys more leaded- 163 x that which is safe. It seems -well who is the real threat to home security? Makes you wonder.
