My girlfriend has a toy she calls a geisha ball it looks like a foam ball with glitter on it.. hanging by a chain that has little spikes in it.. Has anyone ever seen one of these or know where I can get one?? She has had this item for a long time and does not remember where she got it.

The only version of "geisha ball" that I am familiar with, is that it is another name for ben-wa balls, which is not what you are describing.
