You can post what you feel but only if its within the TOS.  I know that sounds picky, but new posters don;t always know there are terms of service.
As for the responses you got, its mainly because people do bemoan about fakes and wannabes and if you checked the search function you will see them.  So you can understand why people get a bit testy when it comes to seeing the same over and over.
That said, maybe you should just be thankful you weren't compatable with the person and they left.
Also, one persons wannabe is someone elses somebody(repost) and as an example, some people see the slash typing as a bit of a online only/pretend player speak - so it might assist you to see why some people find your post ironic and treat it with less consideration. This is simply a possible 'why'.
 
You just learn from what happened and move on and find something better.

Here's a thought...... If you're concerned with the 'cyber-players',  go out and do things in real life.  It eliminates all of the crap that is made into excuses for why a person says one thing on the screen and whether or not that's who they are in meatlife.  Sure, sometimes people *poof* in the real world, too, but showing up tends to lend some credibility to a person being interested in more than just a cyber diversion. 

If you want to meet people....... Go out and meet people.

Think of it like this, no one. If you were viewing other people's profiles, would you choose someone who is overtly and constantly negative or would you rather take your chances with someone who has a more positive outlook? One must always operate under "caveat emptor" but you are bewaring the buyer before they even care to look past your packaging. If you don't like my advice, simply don't take it. I wish you well in your search.

Status: offline 		If you are quite through with your little fit, OP, you might realize that you are in the same boat as a hundred others. We all have those that poof. If you take it personally each and every time, you are going to be a miserable and negative person relatively quickly. In real life, I assume you have never had a date not work out, a friend disapear, a contact dry up or anything like that. Kudos to you.
This is not that far from real life and I dont kow why everyone gets such a bug up their ass everytime it paralells EVERYWHERE else. People are not obligated to be polite, they are not obligated to stay in contact and they are not obligated to eventually meet offline. Many on here are new and get scared off. This is a lot more intense than they had thought, and when it comes down to it they wanted the fantasy but might not be able to handle the real life. Some are playing games, and when you throw little fits over it, they get exactly what they wanted. They get to watch the show. Some are trolls, scouting for wank material.  When someone goes sour, just get over it and move on. A submissive seeing how you react to one poofed contact on here isnt going to be terribly impressed by your abilities to maintian control.

And just becasue we are realtime and such doesnt mean we understand or feel bad for you and your rant. I have had people disapear on me. No loss, i they cant be trusted to stick around in the beginning, I have been saved from wasting my time on them later.The 2 I do have realtime are worth all the work it has taken to meet and keep them, and they have put as much effort into it as I do. Keep that in mind, the ones who disappear arent worth it anyway, if they were theyd be matching or exceeding your efforts to make it work. Not disapearing and waiting to see if you come chase them down.

There are real people out there. Some really good ones. Spending some time examining why you have not found one yet would probably be a more valuable exercise than whining.

Well, i began posting hmm, i believe yesterday on here.  i've had no negative feedback, for which i am thankful for.. and i now may get some lol... but you see, it will be taken with a sense of humor.. try it sometime noone  :)

Status: offline 		Between what I have seen here, and what I saw on the OP's journal, what I do see is some one that has been in love, been used and then been tossed to the side. Not making excuses for them, just saying what I can see.

So...OP...its hard to let go, but taking it out on the next person is 1) cutting your nose off to spite your face 2) childish and close minded, which you could well be even at a ripe age of 52 and 3) Damaging noone but yourself.

Perhaps, if as suggested you sit back, gain some composure to realize that your lack of self control in judging everyone and lumping any one who may speak to you for a while and then doesnt wish to speak with you any more, could have just cause. Far be it for Me to tell you how to deal with heart ache, anger is part of the process I am told, however, you should in fact be assured as it has been said, that perhaps the person who poofed on you wasnt for you and you should in fact be grateful. And if you exhibited some form of grace and approached that person and said..."hey I really felt like we hit it off...what happened?" HONESTY...and clarity in your speech to them, and not flaming accusations loaded with sarcasm and anger, might get you farther.

My grandda used to tell Me that you get more flies with honey than with vinegar.

And in reality, and in closing, if you rant to a bunch of people who only see your medicated negativity, perhaps you should check to be sure that you have a thicker skin...so that you can accept what ever they have to say.

Status: offline 		Lets See Ma'am i go to 2 munches a month and a member of a dungeon club and was collared untill Nov and have been in the L/S for more than 10 years, between years of research and real time. i also belong to the S.U.N. group ( Submissive Unity Network) which is a national group not just local. So i do go out to meet Ones. 

i have met several for coffee and at munches that i have met on ALT and CM... It is the online PLAYERS  i was ranting about.

if you'd been doing this for ten years, you wouldn't be having a newbie tantrum, or refering to the L/S (is that an acronym for loser and slave?) or 'the lifestyle' as if it was one great unified scene.
 
This is the kind of post that makes me think that people with some credibiltiy on these boards- like Aileen and Katy, for example (hello pretties! how's the weather up there?)should be able to delete these sort of embarassing posts, as I kindness to the OP.
