My fellow comic book nerds 'round here probably founds this page, bookmarked it, and set it on a continuous loop already, seeing as it's been out for a few days, but I figured I'd share with those of you who are fans of the Batman but not quite as neurotic or nebbish:

My thoughts: Aaah, I, hwuh...*headexplodey*

I had...doubts...when Ledger got cast as the Joker. He never struck me as depraved, psychotic and scary. The teaser was a good indication (at least he seemed to have gotten the voice down), but it was still up in the air. Where were Nolan, Ledger and the team going to go with this?

I'm a convinced man as of now.

This Joker looks, sounds, and feels exactly like what I always imagined the Clown Prince of Crime to be. Ledger seems to have dug deep inside and dredged up the scariest, most chaotic aspects of the psyche. And the visual style is amazing. There's something unsettling about the posture and movement in the Joker...A mix of hulking and slinking, predatory in nature.

So, yeah, enough of me man-crushing on Ledger. Who else is excited?

Looks good.  I have to say I hated every single one of the Batman movies, except Batman Begins.  Christian Bale did a really good job with the character.

Batman movies were great until Joel Schumacher ( HISTORY'S GREATEST MONSTER. May he burn in Eternal Hellfire - Forever ) got involved, but the best thing was the putting together Bruce Timm and Paul Dini after the Batman movie ( Burton/Keaton ) to do Batman, The Animated Series, which in various forms, ran for 15 years considering Justice League Unlimited. I would also suggest that Kevin Conroy is the quintessential Batman, despite his limited marketing in that role..

Yes....Christian Bale has by far done the best job as '' Batman ''

On a side note : I highly recommend Stephen King's ''The Mist'' and ''Big Willie'' in '' I am Legend '' --- Both excellent movies with great special effects. The ''Spiders'' in The Mist were hella good.
