Id like to warn persons especially tgs,ts,tvs.
I had two dates with two persons from this site. One,last year in seattle. I came from europe to meet someone,when i arrived nobody was there. The second this month in NYC where i had to land from france. I had to delay my arrival in USA for jan. Take care of persons who say" im real,im different,i can proove im real,sounds to good to be true,and so on...don t believe them as i believed even if they show pics and phone you. At the last minute they ll let you down finding an excuse not to meet then you ll have no more news even if they come often on this site.Who can explain me why those persons act this way and what pleasure they can get? Im a real lifestyler,im known and respected. What do they imagine?That i forget what they made to me? This is ashame for the whole community to let those wannabe betraying the trust. Trust,respect,honnesty are the basic of the lifestyle. Those who don t follow that don t deserve any consideration and give a bad image to the community. I really think we should create kind of "police" to prevent those guys to destroy the will and faith of real honnest players. Its the second time that im invited by a faker(after months of chats,phone calls,promisses,and so on),it will be the last time also.

Well, Leatherslave, fool me once shame one you; fool me twice, shame on me. Not only are you a "real" lifestyler, you are now also a "real" internet dater. Lesson learned - don't fly to meet someone you don't know well.

You situation is a common one - read the TOS. We can't build a blacklist, create a CM police force, or put together a private lynching group. It sounds as though you move too quickly with too little information. Learn from your own mistakes, save your airfare, and choose partners with a little more caution.

Some people need to change their filtering processes if they've been taken more than once.  Fakers are quite easy to spot.

edited to add...come to think of it, you need to change your filtering process if you've been taken even once.

Have them fly to you the next time. It probably schocked the shit out of the guys when you came here. I have had one person leaving the meeting place when I was 10 min early because she was tired of waiting. Mmm the only real nympho I have meet on this site. No shows happen. To bad you had to come so far to find that out.

That "talking to them for months" comment is a red flag.  For months, they can't find anyone except you, a virtual friend only?  They're not looking too hard, except with the palm of their hand.  When I set a date to meet someone, I tell any other women I'm talking with that I'm not looking for anything other than friends until the situation resolves.  I've never had anyone get offended yet because I was seeing someone else first.  In fact, I've gotten constructive criticism for how I could have handled the date better.  Nice people really are NICE, and people respect you more if they know you are talking to something besides a computer.

Since you alreay have clearly stated that you attend events all over. Use them (the events) as your first meet base.
I'll be at XXX event in January So if you'd like to meet, we can meet at the XXX coffee shop right around the corner at this time on this day. You get a no show? ok haven't wasted any more time than you would have had you been meeting them in your home town.

BTW may run into each other at SWLC next month.

For some reason the fakers wannabees and everything in between gravitate to sites like these, they will play you (online) but get real and they run. I honestly do not know what they get from it (I really would like to though) I wish there was some way to police this, but there is not. I have heard various theories about how it can be done, and reasons it cannot be. Maybe one day there will be a way to filter the site, but for now just try to meet (In a reasonable time frame), or  have them come to you, maybe at a social or event, that way if they do not show, you are somewhere you will enjoy being . Just what I have learned since my time on CM.

People demand real - on a cyber mode. Many dotn return = information.  No one actually flew 2x to meet someone.  What an exxargeration.   and if you did- you are gullible.

And not just on-line but on the telephone too.
And if you have any doubts have (them) fly or drive to meet you.
