Excellent advice; more people should take it. I know far too many people online, who seem like rational non-wanker types, who seem to use the PC as their barricade against the real world. I know it can be scary, heading out in public for the first time; I've been there. It was a big step for me, but I'm so glad I took it. I haven't looked back. Aside from meeting a master/mistress/sub/slave...whatever you're looking for...you will make actual human contact. Online connections can be a great tool for bridging distances, but there is no substitute for face-to-face interactions with people. I've made a number of very good friends who I first met online, but they never would have become true friends if we'd never physically met. That goes especially for my sweetie; if I hadn't taken a chance and phoned her while I was in Vancouver, I would have missed out on something truly special. Tasha

A good recipe is the quickest way to snag me! Cooking is an art form (I paid my way through college by baking breads, and can fill a minivan in a day and a half of baking), and I love cooking...but if I cook it, I have to eat it...and calories are a lot less dangerous when shared amongst a larger group of people [:D]

If a sub looks like Brad Pitt or George Clooney (not mashed together, aidan - you are funny!) or Robert Redford (in his younger days) or Orlando Bloom (for the younger Mistress) or Kurt Cobain (while still alive) or Will Smith or Cary Grant....you get my drift.

Meh. I don't really dig Brad. I find him kinda weaselly. I can watch "The Mummy" over and over again for the beefcake, though. Oded Fehr AND Brendan Fraser in the same movie for two hours? Oh yes. I am entertained.

Its funny I met alot of good people in our local scene but found it frustrating as far as finding a Mistress. However I feel the scene taught me alot in real time. It also opened up networking possibilities. But in the end it was the good old PC and this site that allowed me to find Mistress.

The only problem with munches and local scenes is that not everyone has them available in their area. i live in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, and the closest i've been able to locate is Omaha (which is over a 4 hour drive), which i cannot hope to attend. Otherwise, its good advice.
