Im ready to carve and tool some more leather paddles but am a bit bored with the art I have been creating. (Snakes, dragons, wolves, bears, celtic knotswork, tribals, kanji).

If you were looking for a carved paddle what type of design would you like carved/tooled on the leather? Oh, I don't craft designs that have a copyright on them so don't mention Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop etc.

Some hieroglyphics or something related to ancient temple drawings in both Greece (the Minoan Civilization was very into Goddess Worship)and Egypt another would be some of the Tarot symbolism.

How about something with Brands, possibly a combo of burnt leather and the carving?

yes..and that is why I have done many of these already..but i do get bored and if i get bored with my craft I dont have fun..and half the part of the business is the enjoyment!
