ORIGINAL: mistoferin Well maybe I'm just weird or something but if I am with a partner that I am committed to I could find that kind of connection in the middle of Times Square at 5 minutes to 12 on New Year's Eve. When the connection gets made there are only 2 people on the whole planet to me, everyone else ceases to exist. Ditto that, Erin, I agree. I think it's awesome when people have great connections like that. To answer the OP's "Why do you?" question - because the way I'm living now is what I had been craving for most of my life, and the fulfillment I have found in being able to love and express myself the way I finally can is unlike anything I've experienced before. My sentiments as well. I have posted things that may be considered mushy or sappy or whatever, but they are my feelings, and the opinions of others don't really faze me. I found his post to be endearing and sweet and I could relate from the sub's position. I liked reading how a person sees it from the Top because I haven't felt that and can only rely on these kinds of descriptions. So, thank you for sharing that as I enjoyed that perspective. I have had public scenes that took me to the edge of myself, one of the deepest subspace moments in my life. I think the fact that is public only heightens it for me because I like that sort of thing. Private play has never gotten me to that same level. I can tune out much in a crazy, noisy setting, and the thought that someone else might be watching Daddy and I scene makes things that much more incredible. As to the why... well, I love the way this relationship has been unlike any other I've had and the fact that Daddy can take me to places physically that I didn't know existed before him, well, that's just the icing on top. ~ Red
