I find slavery to a WebCam has too many limitations.  It doesn’t speak so it can’t give me orders to follow.  This also makes conversation impossible.  I have no idea what WebCam thinks about religion, politics or what it would like for dinner.   WebCam is easily “turned on” but then I have to turn it off to end the session and that makes me worry that I am topping from the bottom ~snickers~.
WebCam does not contribute to the relationship and my needs are not met.  Should I beg for release and seek another dominant?

Not entirely in context the way you "quoted me", is it? It's something my uncle always tells me, and yes, it is a very blanketing statement.
But for most parts it's true (again, my experience). It's just a cruel cruel world we live in, where we listen to those elder then us, and sometimes speak from ear to mouth. If you took offence I apologize as that was not my intention.

However, I don't think I am wrong in expressing myself when I begin with saying "it's only my opinion".
If you want to be prissy about anything, I would have thought it to be the "as well" which is the part of my post not relating to webcam slavery/sex.

I have never heard the term before, so it's a new one on me.

Since Master and I currently live 2 hours from each other, both with crazy schedules, we do employ the use of web cams between the times I am able to be with him in person.  Our cam programs have video and sound, and it's a great way to "visit" - the next best thing, anyway.  I'm often "doing stuff" for him in the background while he works - he enjoys it and finds it relaxing.  Or those late nights when he can't sleep, I'll entertain him as well.  It's a great way for us to connect, and I'm thrilled he'd rather entertain himself watching his slave than watching late night TV.

It works for us.

But if by "cam slave" you mean people with no mental/emotional connection, but just getting their yaya's off with strangers on cam....well, no thanks.  It's appealing to some, but not to me personally.

It seems reasonable to me -- while I accept that it was your uncle who said those words, you appeared, to me, at least, to be agreeing with and endorsing them.

I have no use for web cam slavery from either side of the slash. As a tool to see someone, fine, or using when the one you are involved with in person is away for awhile to see each other or whatever, yeah. Other than that, no. I don't do cyber bdsm. My experience with those wanting to use web cams with me is that it's about directing their own little porno flick and I'm not into being that for a stranger on the internet.
