I do not know that either. I do not consider a slave or a sub to be under me. If I had a slave, I would consider her to be part of me. If I had a sub or a domme, I would consider her to be a complementary partner.

Besides no one here needs or has to justify themselves to anyone else. I put it to you what makes you feel you’re so grand? Indeed a quick peruse through your profile seems to suggest you think yourself rather grand and elitist

As for your last question, I believe people get out of a D/s relationship what they get out of a vanilla one; mutual satisfaction.

With due respect KarenElizabeth I question how much experience you have.  (I have read your profile/journal ETC)  Have you gone to clubs/munches and gathered information with these questions in mind.   I believe that speaking directly to real life Ds and s's will obtain a far clearing understanding than what your questions pose here- thus negating your need to question on what can be fairly unverifiable responses.

I hate it when I'm on this site and the mom in me supercedes the submissive in me but some things just can't be helped.

"The best you can be" is an admirable, yet unachievable objective.  No matter how much time and effort you devote to the task, it is always possible to do more.  To the extent that I am what I am is due to self-motivation.

That is a very relative determination, and I suspect that every girl I've owned would give a different answer.  No one else can answer for them, as different people benefit in different ways depending upon their unique needs, wants, desires, objectives, etc.
 
The question might better be posed as to what traits and skills one brings to the relationship.

Are you *really* looking for someone who thinks he is GodIncarnateAllSlutsBowDown?  You'll find some of those guys on CollarMe, but not many on these message boards.  The only OmnipotentDom around here is Jeffff.

I certainly don't go telling subs how wonderful I am. It's not how grand I am, or how grand she is. It's how incredibly extraordinary we are together!

That said, a couple bullet points in my favor:
-- I take my time, whether giving a sub pain or pleasure.
-- I also love variety. Do some of this, some of that, have rough, orgasmic, squirt-inducing sex. Then start over with other torments and pleasures. More sex. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Hello KarenElisabeth. For some reason I cannot stop laughing! Thank you! (tries to compose himself).

...Ok, I'll give it a shot...I think I am "grand" because my submissive is "grand". I am the best master I can be when my submissive is also at her best. You cannot benefit from being "under me"...only I can. You benefit from me being "over" you, and this of course in complete non-narcissistic synergy.

Your questions seem like an interview for a job or something, except that it seems to me that the employee is interviewing the employer! (oops, I'm starting to laugh again!) RL

2) My ability to be reasonable and fair.
