These are the worst set of winter holidays for me to date. I'd rather evaporate until it is all over. I don't want to get into the specifics, so maybe I will do what Z does and just become a dick.

The only days I actually celebrate are a few birthdays. Anything else is just a pain inthe ass and companies greedy grabs for profit!

i'm one of those weird people who has only had a couple bad holiday seasons in my life...i love the smells, tastes, sounds & sights of this time of year...my philosophy is that i don't stress about getting stuff done, if it doesn't get done this year, then maybe next year...i'm out here on my truck, letting fate take me wherever this year & it seems that i may get to my family's after all...sometimes following what's put in front of one is the best way to get what one wants....i no longer buy anything for anyone for Christmas, i just give money away to charities...everyone i know has more than they need anyway.....

The holidays are especially crazy for me, but I still kinda love them anyways. They became even more crazy and wonderful years ago when Thing 2 was born on Christmas morning. Undoubtedly, my best present yet, most likely ever. [:)] To help cure me of the madness that surrounds this time of year, I found that taking the last two weeks of December off from work and luring Daddy Bear over to my "den" for as much nekkid, hedonistic, lust-filled nookie that a redhead can handle is just the ticket! [8D] ~ individual results may vary ~ [;)]

Basically I do everything on Black Friday and pick up last minute gifts the week before. Then I don't leave my house again until Christmas Day. I still say Bah Humbug though!
