I have never been much for male strippers. I think I went to Chippendales a long time ago for a bachelorette party.  I saw those hunky guys wandering around the Rio hotel in Vegas, but didn't bother to go look at it.  I can appreciate a good looking man, but the whole stripper dancing thing (when done by men) I find kind of laughable and silly.  I don't need a man's crotch in my face or to wave dollars at them -- now, female strippers, at the right club, that can be hot.  They are sensual, great dancers, a lap dance is fun and titilating, and hell, I don't even consider myself bi.

So imagine for a moment that a club DID cater to women, and femdoms, really, were the target market. In my imagination, the men would be the bartenders or waiters, would circulate the room, serve drink, offer to give foot massages, etc. -- what you would consider kind of outwardly obedient, yet flirtacious behavior. And, of course, they'd be game to obey random commands, such as crawling, etc. 

Logically, though, what would the femdom version of a "lapdance" be?  What would you be willing to shell out additional cash for "special attention"?  Am I just in the minority, and femdoms actually think a male lapdance is worth the money? 

Instead of paying for a lapdance, I'd pay to pull his hair - until it really hurt.  Or tie him up and see if he could get away.  Or, make one of the other guys tie him up, even better.  But I doubt this kind of behavior is tolerated in such places.

I made a client give me a lapdance once, because hey! we dressed him up like a stripper!  He wasn't very good at it, but I was amused.

I would pay for hot young studmuffins to perform for me.  OH yeah.

I have to wonder if there's a market for it.  I think the concept of "male strip clubs" is too cheesy and most successful, monied women would not go there. But if there was a place to go where power-women hobnobbed and were doted on by attractive men, who did everything from fill their champagne glasses to provide foot massages and listen to their rants, I think they'd come.

I think powerful women with money would find a strip club to be juvenille. But if it was positioned as a different kind of adult entertainment and relaxation, maybe they'd come.

I had a similar reaction to two live male strip shows I went to.

I was actually deeply offended at some of the things the male strippers did such as touch the women in the audience and put their body parts right in women's faces.

I don't know whether or not female strippers do that sort of thing but it would turn me off as well.

As far as I'm concerned the strippers job is to look good and dance decently -- not to touch me, not get close to me.

My in science fiction series there is a male stripper scene and basically he stays on the stage and no, women don't scream and yell and have a fit like they do now -- they behave much more like men today, watching and discussing their business with a nice view they can choose to look at.

I enjoy watching men dance, but I prefer watching them fight.  I think there is a reason that so many sadistic spectacles have always enjoyed a large female audience, from the Roman colliseum or the bullfights to the present day.

*raises hand*  I have to admit, the only sport I'm willing to subsidize with attendance is ice hockey...

On the original post:  I've little to no interest in seeing male strippers.  Those I've seen have not had the sensuality or fun to them of the female strippers I've watched and then theres the male-genitals issue... I've no interest in seeing them at all unless I know you and have a direct use for them of some sort in mind right at this moment. 

I'd be willing to attend a club with the focus on male submission, though, definitely.  Go out with friends, have a nice meal or some drinks with all male waiters and attendants to rub shoulders or feet, brush my hair, etc in a submissive manner.

As to an equivalent to a lapdance... hmmmm...  maybe keep all actions on a very light and casual manner unless buying a "dance", and then you get to buy the chance to spank one, dress him up just as you want, tickle him, or for a special fee have him specifically attend you all night...  lots of possibilities.

The only type of male dancing  I get pleasure from is watching men fight.  Mixed marital arts type now that is sexy hot to me. 

On the other hand.... dressing a man up like a woman and having him strip does get my attention.

And yes, I forgot to mention that the whole strip club thing is a turnoff for me.  I do enjoy watching dance, so something like Cirque with a kinkier spin...but none of that teabagging!  ew.

In a sports context I honestly am not interested.

But when I used to go to fighter practice for the local SCA chapter I found I got some good erotica written because I found it inspiring how much time and effort it took for those men and a few women too to create their gear and then learn to use it.

*shrug*  I'm not going to pretend there's anything enlightened about it.  I just like to see an intensely well-trained, battle-hardened body perform.  Preferably without many clothes on, although armor is also sexy.  Especially Roman armor.  Whew!

I also like the intensity of the emotions involved, and quite frankly in some contests there is a good deal of suffering or even a risk of death that can be quite the adrenaline rush to watch.

While it's not stripping, this is pretty much the whole purpose of the femdom tea parties that exist in quite a few locations around the country. I did server training not that long ago because I was seeing someone who wanted that type of service incorporated into our regular routine, and it was very interesting how much this felt like it counter balanced the whole "stripper" aspect that guys seem to go for, but in a more feminine way. Much like strip clubs, the men (there are women, too, actually who serve at these, but the women who are served are all women) are naked, and the setting is very formalistic and unique.

It might be something to look into. I know there are teas all the time, as I'm now on the notification list because I've been trained (although I never had any desire to actually do one of the formal teas myself). And what's significant about this is that unlike some fetish club where people just wander in if they pay the dues at the door, a server cannot be a server unless he has gone through the formal training with the leaders of the specific tea society. I remember being told that quite often the servers are highly sought out because so few of them actually are willing to go through the training, so the teas themselves are quite popular with the ladies who attend.

I had the same idea when I was at a strip club here. Catered to Fem-dommes Night.
