"New Users"
Why are there the same old people getting recycled through as "new users"?

Respectfully, LTP

Same old people? Recycled? I'm guessing you ain't collecting any brownie points here.

Maybe because the newer ones aren't much cop?

Elaborating:
Sorry, On the side there is a catogory to look at "New users",
I have noticed that there are many profiles that keep recycling through there.
Are these people updating their profiles and showing up as new users again? Or maybe shutting off their profiles and then restarting them again?

Hope this helps.
Respectfully, LTP

Maybe it happenes when someone signs on to the boards...as in 'new right now' vs 'brand new user complete with new user smell!'...

I was curious.....

I also set my age brackets to my own age group and the "new user" are not in the peramiters.
I am just trying to be respectful.
I do not get into being flamed by people who are not in my age group so I stay away from them.
I also do not like being flamed by you.

Merry Christmas.

I would hardly call that a flame, perhaps a spark...lol...

I wish that I would not come up in "new user" every time I change my profile, the same people email me over and over again with the same spam because they mass email everything that shows up on "new users".. it is quite comical when you get the same spam about how perfect you are for someone that forgot you existed after the first time they emailed you.. but hey, small price to pay for such a great site to play on

Uh, oh, you better put on some big person pants if you think what I said was a flame...

I didn't realise updating a profile made you a new user

I think what you are noticing is people who temporarily deactivate their accounts to avoid some annoying user and then when they reactivate the accounts they show up on the new user list. Though the original join date in their profile will still be the same as before. That could explain the "new" old user phenomena you are noticing.
