for me it's not the "thump" of how a paddle feels.to me a paddle should sting,that's what brings the exquisite pain for me and pleasure for my Mistress.

A paddle should have thump! We had a perfect paddle that gave lots of nice thump, until he broke it over my bottom one afternoon while I was over his knee. Then he bought a new paddle that gave lots of sting and left this little subbie bitching and rubbing her sore bottom. [:@] So, in the spirit of the season I got myself a new paddle in my Christmas loot this morning that is just like my favorite thumpy one. Now, to get some over the knee time and try that baby out!! [:D]

I want a paddle to sting. I love the smack! of leather against a sub's flesh. I'm making my own out of a short piece of stiff, wide leather belt and a "handle" from a crafts store. Have to test it on inamimate objects (or Rachael Ray[:D] ) before using it on a sub (hopefully soon). Les (Purveyor of Fine, Handcrafted Kink)

Well, I care! [;)] I think a paddle should thump nicely and leave a deliciously red bum in its wake. For sting, Daddy has a single tail and a quirt that does double duty when it pops my generous tushy. (Double damn!) hehehe... ~ Red(bottom)

I like a paddle to sting,WE have a nice leather one and after a few swats with it then you have a very red ass.....I also like a slapper,its a two piece leather crop for a horse ,the first piece creates the sting and the second a very pleasing thumping sound....bounty
