subsong -> RE: How to address a submissive the first email? (12/26/2007 2:25:55 PM)

I find being approached by someone friendly , non-suggestive , assertive , and polite works best for me ( same as if in person ) . Acceptable : " Hi ss , or subsong , or song , or beautiful - or just "Hello" , or " I enjoyed reading your profile ( along with some indication that they actually DID ! ) " , etc . Turn-offs are being overly familiar - or just too much too soon - "darling/lover/slut/subbie" ( ick , I so don't like the word subbie ) ... And there's nothing particularly flattering about someone obsessing over a body part in a picture - so much so , that that becomes all they want to talk about . Ugh. I really like when someone takes the time to write and SAY something , instead of just " Hi" , or "How ya doin ?" - or "nice legs" . Or if they have a specific question for me about something they saw in my profile . It helps to have something to respond TO - something conversational that begins real communication ! And I completely agree with earlier posters - good spelling and grammar show caring and intelligence , and are very appealing to me ! [:)]
