Ok, I posted a question at Bounty's coffee shop and got no takers... so here - maybe you'll answer me here?

Why do dogs have black lips and people have red lips? Really I want to know.

I had to go check Yahoo Answers on this one. And apparently. as I thought, not all dogs do have black lips. And my favorite answer?

it's so they don't look dirty after they eat up all the cat crap

The question didn't deserve an answer but like someone said all dogs don't have black lips...Since I own 27 of them I went and made a personal check of each one.... Most black with about 5 pink ones....

Maybe its just me, but I didn't know people's lips were red, I know mine aren't at least not without a little help from the cosmetics counter. This is a trick question right
