I've seen a couple exmples of inconspicuous collars, but frankly they all seem a tad feminine.

I was wodnering if there was a more inconspicuous for men to wear when they're out with their friends and the like. If anyone knows of any good sites for this I'd really like to see them.

I'm not one for the chain and padlock look, i'm looking for something a little more solid.

The one I can recommend is a great collar but not as inconspicuous as you may like but, nevertheless, a great looking, durable collar.. The site is www.eternitycollars.com. This is used by many I know..If I'm ever collared one day, I hope this is the one I am lucky to have.. I suppose, for men, this is a difficult thing. It can be a piece of jewelry for women..But men do wear necklaces..That might be your option. The flat, wide type. Just depends on what is to be spent and if you want silver or gold..I would also look on ebay..I don't know what else to suggest.

Respectfully,
sultry

I found this site that has some men's neck chains. It's a UK site and expensive, but it shows some different "vanilla" styles that I'm sure you could find cheaper somewhere else:

Be well,

Added: Oops- I just realized that you said you weren't into "chains". Doh! [8|]

wow, thank you for all your suggestions people, It looks like Mistress and I have some thinking to do.

I have an Eternity Collar and love it. On men it tends to look like a piece of alternative jewelry. Especially, if you have piercings.

Do you have a picture of what this looks like?

Shows how much I was paying attention sorry :)

Those are nice, i'm not sure they're what I personally am looking for though. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Instead of going withe the traditional type collar,I bought My girl a rainbow chain the links are large enough for a small padlock to lock it on.I know rainbows arent manly, but you might find something similiar.I personally like the touch of the small padlock, instead of a locking collar.

SirWaverider -> RE: Inconspicuous Collars (8/26/2005 9:07:21 AM)

here's a suggestion...I'm not sure if it would work...I had a friend that wore a dog choker chain with a padlock on it..this is before I got into the lifestyle so at the time it just looked like a "punk rocker" type thing. It might be an idea...AND if anyone asks you can say it's a punk thing...LOL

KarbonCopy -> RE: Inconspicuous Collars (8/26/2005 4:39:31 PM)

Well like I mentioned in my origional post, I'm not much of a chain and padlock kind of guy.

If you are seeking the symbolism of the collar rather than the practicality of something one can attach a leash to, a jewelry store is a great place to start. Hit the mall - see what appeals to you. Perhaps a simple tasteful chain with a charm that means something special to you and your Mistress - maybe as simple as the word "Taken". ("Slaveboy" would get a few strange looks from the co-workers I expect.) You know what it means to you and your Mistress. The vanilla world at large would simply view it as cute and romantic. My first collar was a tasteful and beautiful necklace. It was not the shape of the collar but the meaning behind it that means so much to me. I have a number of "necklaces" that I change out to match what I am wearing that are simply jewelry to the world at large. But I know what it means to me and Master, and that's all that matters.

Indigoandkarbon -> RE: Inconspicuous Collars (8/26/2005 7:32:14 PM)

Hmm. thats a good suggestion.

Although I was thinkign of finding something that like. . I dunno, people who know the life know that its a collar, but those who dont have no clue.

It should serve the same purpose of wedding ring. Scare off Dom/mes

MRMojo -> RE: Inconspicuous Collars (8/27/2005 2:46:40 PM)

My last sub and I used more of a choker. It looked more "in fashion" but was a collar to us. No one ever asked or suspected anything.
