I have received a couple of applications from male slaves, wanting my sub to be their Mistress, and it got me wondering. I mean, I thought I spelled our situation out pretty clearly in our profile, but then I started looking at the pics I have of her, and I realized, that If someone were to just look at the pics, could come to the conclusion that she could be a dominant. But that's my choice, I pick what she wears because that is what I like to see, and it's part of which gives me pleasure. And after all, she serves me. So I am just wondering is it innappropriate for me to have her dress in a manner that could be misconstrued as dominant, or is it still my choice and clothing choice really does'nt matter.

There are many male subs on these sites that contact anything appearing female and request to be topped. It doesn't matter what clothes, label or anything else you have/are. The numbers are so against them they just get a bit frantic. I wouldn't let that effect anything you do.

So, what's your submissive supposed to look like dressed? Like you want her to, as the two of you have agreed.

A funny aside: I attend enough functions where the slaves are naked, I often don't recognize them as first glance when they're clothed. LOL

Don't worry about what others think. Do what you enjoy and have her wear what you like. If they read the profile, it should be more than obvious that she isn't a Domme.

On a somewhat different note, some people put far too much emphasis on the outfits and "image". I'm Domme, but I really can't stand most fetish wear. When I meet with my subs, i'm almost always in heels, jeans and a sexy top. May not be what comes to mind when you are stereotyping, but I feel sexy, and i'll still put you on your knees.

this is not rule by committee. If you want your slave to dress a certain way, it is your right and obligation to see that she does so. I may not know whether or not she is a dom or sub, but then do I need too?

I like wearing corsets and heels, which is probably more dominant than submissive.
I wear them anyway because they make me look and feel good.

Dear weneedyourhelp, Ladies and Gentlemen;

For me, a slave's uniform is anything that is deemed in my eyes a uniform. Naked is preferred in my household and when in the company of other like minded Masters/Mistresses/SIRs/Dominants.

It can be where my appearance is in public and it is a formal attire, the slave will be in formal attire, even if it is in a tuxedo, cumberbun, bowtie, gloves and tails, and tuxedo shirt and top hat.

My slave's comfort will be in mind always of course, so the lad might have his socks on and nothing else and range all the way from naked to dressed in the 'nines.'

I will add...that my slave never dresses as to over dress me--they will be notched down a peg.

If I did have a female slave--they will not be dressed as to appear as a Dominant. But, that is my personal preferences. I want people to make no mistake as to who is Master and who is slave.

I also have a 'thing' about neatness, being clean -- no tennis shoes, rags of clothes, sloppy appearances.

Just some thoughts.

I hate wearing "uniforms". People think that you should dress in a certain manner to show how you identify....bullshit. I have been known to show up at the club wearing a hawaiian shirt. When they suggest I wear fetish wear, I tell them I have a hawaiian shirt fetish.

I have had sub friends suggest that I wear the typical dungeon attire....leather pants, chaps, or black jeans with a black shirt....because it helps with *their* ability to get in the mood, now bear in mind that they are not even playing with me. I tell them that if my choice of clothing interferes with their ability get into subspace, that they should focus more on what their Top is doing.

Yes, I do enjoy wearing leather and such, when I want to. I also like to wear different colored shirts.

Basically, wear what makes you and yours happy...or as you are instructed.

My sub checks her attire with me, for my advice/approval. It doesn't matter to me how others think she should dress.

The people posted thus far are right and why would you care what the mindless people trolling the site have to say .Just delete and block if needed and move on .Most of those who do these mass mailings to a profile with a female picture do not read them and most sre not in the same realm either .They also are just after what they can get with their own agenda s .Hardly worth a second thought .Master Fire > veryyyy funny as i have had those same things happen to me , and more than once i have had people say oof i did not know it was you , you look different with clothes lol .

you have gotten great advice and i really can't add anything here advise wise but i did want to say what an adorable couple you guys are! i think your profile is refreshingly honest.

Don't worry about the male subs that write to you guys - it is just part of being out here. i recieve my fair share of them as well and i am naked in 3 of my 4 photos.

Clothes can be so over-rated!! Wear what you guys like~

I think you should stick with what makes you happy. If you enjoy seeing her in that attire then by all means. Those individuals probably didn't read your profile and sent a message based solely on the pics. Unfortunately there will always be those people who don't want to take the time to read about others and no matter what you do they will continue to message without reading. Anyways, like I said I think you should go with your own desires. What you enjoy seeing your sub wear IS what's appropriate for her to wear for you.
