ORIGINAL: WickedKev I told you I was sick. (On a gravestone in Florida I believe.) I was going to reply the same. Except that it's not just a tomb in Florida. It's quite a common epitaph in fact. I think someone famous had it first, but I can't find who :/. There's another famous one, the translation of which (from french) is : "Here lies my wife, she is well, for her peace and for mine." (a guy who had a difficult marriage wrote that on his wife's tomb in the 17th century). Another nice one : "Here lies, yes, lies, good heavens ! the Cardinal Richelieu. and what causes my grief, my pension lies with him" (sorry I didn't make the translation rhyme :p... It was common to have an epitaph in the form of a quatrain, but François Villon (15th century) made a long poem that is probably one of the most well-known epitaph ).
