Why do some publications go list crazy at the end of every year?

8. dimples or clefts
7. gorgeous eyes
6. properly fitting clothes, not too baggy or tight
5. Strong, work roughened hands

My top 10 hates:

Just say God made you do it. After all wasn’t he that invented the Top Ten lists? Or was it David Letterman, or may be Buddha…who knows.
Any how, here are some guidelines.

1         Thou shall make Top 10 lists
2         Thy List shall be numbered
3         There shall be 10 on the list
4         Thy list shall be from 1 to 10
5         11 is too many
6         Nine is too few
7         Thou shall remember the seventh item an keep it, wholly
8         Thou shall not bear false or witless items in thy list ( well, don’t be so strict about that)
9         Thou shall not cover thy neighbor’s list
10     Thy list should??? .

Couldn’t complete # 10, the magazine I was copying it from had coffee stains right on that very spot…lol
