i have heard stories where Mistress and slave have been together for years and are happy and very much in love. I was just wondering how that all came to happen. i feel that is something i am looking for

Most generally, just like in a vanilla relationship. Out of friendship and mutal respect for each other. My Master and I have fallen in love with each other. We started out as friends, and it went on to mutual respect for each others feelings, and our love just fell into place from that.

What most people don't seem to get is that these are relationships. They develop the same way any other relationship develops. So, how would a vanilla relationship develop for you?

I'm going to be incredibly unromantic with my advice.

Stop looking for someone special and look for people to have fun with, to learn with/from, and whom are compatible.

I'm not special. Why would I expect someone special to fall in love with me? I'm just me. I found two wonderful guys who are just themselves too when none of us were actively looking for anyone in particular.

Agreed. You know how sometimes you find your keys the minute you stop looking for them? The very week I decided I wasn't looking and wasn't interested, my very special Dom appeared. If I had been looking for him, I wouldn't have met him.
