Most people have probably had bad neighbors before. Mine fight and are very loud about it. Twice now, i've called the cops because they were at it physically.

Any suggestions on alieviating this probkem? i cannnot afford to move.

Do they rent or own? If they rent can you find out who their landlord is and make a complaint to them also mentioning that the police have been called out several times now? They will be able to request a copy of the complaint from the police station. They would then probably give a warning that if cops are called out again they will be evicted. It's a thought anyway.

i just read all that i wrote here and realized that i don't cap for crap lol...guess i need to work on that.

is this a house or apartment complex?

In the case of it being an apartment, one or both will end up leaving. As for them living in a house, seeing one or both leave may take longer. At any rate, I think you'll end up out lasting them.

Other than that, see what all the other neighbors think as well as the apt managment or your neighbor hood housing regulating property committee. Somethings has to give when you team up and have the big wigs step in.

Yes, and/or Voodoo! (no offence meant, by any one practicing).
Make some dolls and disable them temporarily....

greenie, it's an unusual legal relationship, but the tenants here have more rights than normal. i can complain to the office, but the wife works there and the executive director is her friend. Maintenance men have told me she has come to work with two black eyes before. i feel bad for her, but she doesn't seem to want to make changes; just cover it up. i'm their only neighbor; they have an end unit.

i could speak to a board member about it, but i don't know what i'd do afterwards. They'd tell me to make a formal complaint, and i am not looking for trouble with them (especially him).

But they drive me nuts; these arguments go on till 3am. i have no idea how the wife gets to work after no sleep. These are not kids; they are older than i.

*sigh*

I had a situation like this many years ago. I placed stereo speakers against the wall & turned them up very loudly.

But two wrongs don't make a right...

I would still make a complaint. The manager there may still answer to an owner... I would look into finding out who the next up the ladder is & contact them as well.
