While it doesn't directly relate... I've had a s/s that I assisted in a personal trainer respect. She needed someone to be accountable to, to stay on track, and I definitely enjoyed assisting her. While hardly a pro, I gave her reasonable - though challenging - goals and set rewards and punishments for her attaining or missing them. I'd have to say (and I think she would as well) that it worked out very well. In the first few months, she dropped 45+ lbs. and told me that she was very happy to be kept on the path. She even enjoyed the though of me behind her as she worked the elliptical - using my belt on her to drive her harder. As to the OP topic, I think it would be great to have one but I'd examine your goals and why you're doing what you're doing to ensure that both parties are heading where they want to be. If it's weight-loss, for example, you don't lose weight in the gym...you lose it in the kitchen. Get a plan in place before you hit it hard-and-heavy. In other words, don't work-out harder........work-out smarter. Example: It's been measured that you can burn calories at a parabolic rate by changing what you work on (i.e. if you're hitting your arms/chest, move next to the legs and so on). 2 units of your local denomination - now served! *tips his hat* - Mr. S
